This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Guidewire (PolicyCenter) Developer based in United States.
This role is focused on developing, enhancing, and supporting Guidewire PolicyCenter applications within a complex insurance technology environment. You will leverage deep PolicyCenter expertise to configure solutions, build integrations, and deliver customizations aligned with business needs. The position also plays an important role in production support, including incident analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. You will work across the software development lifecycle while applying established Guidewire best practices. Experience with related Guidewire platforms and insurance operations will allow you to contribute across a broader technology landscape. This is an opportunity for an experienced developer to take ownership of critical policy administration solutions and support reliable application performance.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and enhance Guidewire PolicyCenter applications through configuration, customization, and technical development.
- Design and implement integrations between PolicyCenter and other enterprise systems.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective PolicyCenter solutions.
- Provide production support for PolicyCenter applications, investigating incidents and diagnosing technical issues.
- Troubleshoot application problems, identify root causes, and implement appropriate resolutions.
- Support application enhancements and improvements throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Apply Guidewire development standards and best practices to ensure scalable, maintainable, and reliable solutions.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with functional and operational requirements.
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on development experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Strong expertise in PolicyCenter configuration, integrations, customizations, and application enhancements.
- Proven experience supporting PolicyCenter applications in production, including incident analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Strong understanding of Guidewire best practices and software development lifecycle principles.
- Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter and/or BillingCenter is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the insurance domain, particularly Personal and Commercial Property, is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex application issues.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders and manage priorities in a production-focused environment.
