This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a .NET Backend Developer Pleno based in Brazil.

We are seeking a mid-level .NET Backend Developer to build, maintain, and optimize scalable backend applications and services. In this role, you will develop robust APIs, contribute to architectural decisions, and help modernize existing systems. You will work with modern technologies across cloud infrastructure, microservices, and distributed systems to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions. The position emphasizes software quality, observability, and engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in agile workflows, and contribute to continuous technical improvement. This is an opportunity to tackle complex engineering challenges while expanding your expertise in cloud-native development and modern backend architecture. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility within a collaborative and innovation-driven environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain backend APIs and services using C#, .NET Core, .NET 8, and newer versions of the .NET platform.
  • Collaborate on the design and evolution of application architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Apply software engineering best practices, including SOLID principles and Clean Architecture, to deliver high-quality code.
  • Implement and maintain unit and integration tests to improve software reliability and prevent regressions.
  • Develop and enhance observability solutions through metrics, logs, and distributed tracing to support system health and performance monitoring.
  • Use Dynatrace to monitor application availability, troubleshoot production incidents, and identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Support cloud infrastructure deployment and management using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
  • Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Work with relational databases, including Oracle and PostgreSQL, ensuring efficient queries and reliable data management.
  • Implement asynchronous communication and messaging solutions using technologies such as Kafka and Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline deployment and improve delivery efficiency.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies using Scrum or Kanban methodologies, collaborate with team members, conduct code reviews, and contribute to continuous technical improvement.
  • Professional experience developing backend applications with C#, .NET Core, and .NET 8 or newer.
  • Experience designing, developing, and integrating APIs.
  • Practical knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and software quality assurance practices.
  • Experience using Dynatrace for application monitoring, distributed tracing, and performance analysis.
  • Practical knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services, preferably GKE.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience designing or developing microservices-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with asynchronous communication, messaging systems, and event-driven architectures, including Kafka or Pub/Sub.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and modern software engineering practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify bottlenecks and implement effective technical solutions.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile environment and contribute to technical discussions and code reviews.
