This is a strategic People Partner role focused on helping leaders and employees build a healthy, high-performing, and inclusive workplace. You will advise managers on performance management, employee relations, investigations, accommodations, and other critical people matters. The role combines hands-on HR partnership with data-driven insights, using workforce trends to inform leadership decisions and organizational priorities. You will also approach employee experience through a product and design-thinking lens, identifying needs and continuously improving people programs. The position requires strong judgment, empathy, discretion, and the ability to navigate complex and sensitive situations with confidence. You will collaborate closely with HRBPs, Legal, and broader People teams across an internationally distributed organization. Accountabilities:
- Manager Partnership: Coach and guide managers through performance management and employee relations matters, helping ensure decisions are fair, consistent, principled, and grounded in sound judgment.
- Employee Relations: Manage complex and sensitive employee matters, including workplace investigations, leaves of absence, accommodations, offboarding, and other people-related operational needs.
- People Analytics: Identify and leverage relevant people data and metrics to uncover organizational insights, particularly around performance management and employee attrition, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Employee Experience: Apply product management and design-thinking principles to understand employee needs, develop and test solutions, prioritize improvements, and continuously iterate using data and feedback.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with HRBPs, Legal, Employee Relations, and other People teams to navigate complex situations and strengthen the overall employee experience.
- Leadership Influence: Provide clear, candid, and thoughtful guidance to leaders and stakeholders, influencing decisions and driving meaningful people and business outcomes without relying on direct authority.
- Project & Priority Management: Independently manage competing priorities, proactively gather information, and move projects and operational work forward effectively within a virtual-first environment.
- AI-Enabled Productivity: Use approved AI tools thoughtfully to enhance productivity, improve workflows, and support high-quality decision-making while maintaining appropriate judgment and accountability.
- HR Experience: 8+ years of experience in Human Resources or Employee Relations, including at least 3 years directly supporting managers and employees through performance management.
- Employee Relations Expertise: Demonstrated experience handling complex employee relations matters and balancing employee experience with business priorities.
- Investigations: Prior experience conducting internal investigations into employee complaints is a plus.
- Critical Thinking: Strong judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate nuanced and sensitive situations effectively.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences and circumstances.
- Confidentiality & Integrity: Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
- Influence: Demonstrated ability to influence leaders, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders without relying on formal authority.
- Global Collaboration: Experience working effectively with internationally distributed and cross-functional teams; experience supporting managers and employees based in Poland is a plus.
- Employee Experience & Design Thinking: Ability to treat employee experience as a product by understanding user needs, prototyping solutions, managing projects, and using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- AI Fluency: Comfort using AI tools in day-to-day work to amplify productivity and human judgment, with a responsible approach to data, accuracy, experimentation, and learning.
- Durable Skills: Strong awareness of yourself and others, sound judgment, adaptability, and the ability to build trust through effective communication and collaboration.
