The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager - Vault Medical Connections based in Canada.

This is an opportunity to shape the next generation of digital solutions supporting Medical Affairs within the life sciences industry. You’ll own the development and growth of standard connections between enterprise applications, helping customers work more effectively across their technology ecosystem. The role combines product strategy, hands-on solution design, customer collaboration, and close partnership with engineering teams. You’ll translate complex business and technical needs into clear product definitions, specifications, and actionable roadmaps. Working in a remote, highly collaborative environment, you’ll partner with customers, sales, consulting, QA, engineering, and product colleagues. The position is ideal for an independent, curious product leader who enjoys ambiguity, moves quickly, and takes ownership from concept through delivery. You’ll have significant influence over product direction while working alongside experienced teams committed to solving meaningful problems in healthcare technology.

Accountabilities

  • Design, prototype, define, configure, and validate application-to-application connections, taking a hands-on approach to ensure the right problems are solved in the right sequence.
  • Develop product definitions, solution maps, detailed specifications, and requirements based on customer needs, market insights, and technical considerations.
  • Create, manage, and communicate the roadmap for the product area, aligning priorities with customer needs, business objectives, and evolving Medical Affairs requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, sales, consulting, engineering, QA, and other product teams to design and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into clear, actionable specifications and user stories that enable engineering teams to execute effectively.
  • Continuously research Medical Affairs software, life sciences trends, and emerging technologies, turning relevant insights into product opportunities and requirements.
  • Iterate rapidly on product concepts and solutions through an agile approach of designing, implementing, validating, and refining.
  • Help ensure solutions are consistent and harmonized across the broader application ecosystem.
  • Understand and communicate architectural requirements, technical limitations, and design considerations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of product quality and outcomes, maintaining a strong focus on customer value, execution, and continuous improvement.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in product management, with demonstrated ownership of products or significant product areas.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated expertise in product design, product development, strategic planning, and translating customer needs into product solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong ability to work independently, take initiative, and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering and QA teams to define, design, build, test, and deliver software products.
  • Strong product ownership skills, including roadmap development, prioritization, requirements definition, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and make sound decisions with incomplete information.
  • Experience with data modeling, including entity relationship diagrams (ERDs) and tools such as Lucidchart, is an asset.
  • Experience writing detailed user stories and managing product or engineering backlogs is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and communicate architectural requirements, preferences, and technical constraints is preferred.
  • Must be based in a region within the Eastern Standard Time zone.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada or the United States.
  • Base salary range of $100,000–$150,000 CAD, with actual compensation determined by experience, location, qualifications, and expected contributions.
  • Potential eligibility for additional compensation, including variable and/or stock-based bonuses.
  • Fully remote, flexible work environment designed to support productivity from home or another suitable location.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Basic life insurance.
  • Paid time off and company-paid holidays.
  • Retirement programs.
  • 1% charitable giving program.
  • Opportunity to work on technology that supports innovation across the life sciences and healthcare sectors.
  • Transparent, structured hiring process including a hiring-manager conversation, practical case exercise, and final leadership discussion.
  • Equal opportunity workplace committed to an inclusive and supportive environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
