The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Strategy & Development Senior Advisor - Express Scripts Pharmacy based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to shape innovative pharmacy solutions that improve customer and client experiences while driving profitable growth. You will independently lead product initiatives from market discovery and concept development through feasibility assessment and business case creation. The position combines strategic thinking, healthcare analytics, product development, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment. You will work across commercial, health plan, Medicare, and other lines of business to identify unmet needs and develop differentiated solutions. Your analysis will inform pricing, plan design, service models, technology requirements, and product positioning. The role provides significant exposure to complex healthcare and pharmacy challenges while allowing you to influence new products and business strategies. This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity available in select U.S. states.

Accountabilities:

  • Research market trends, customer demands, unmet needs, jobs-to-be-done, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for new pharmacy products and solutions.
  • Partner with product teams and cross-functional stakeholders to explore, develop, and enable coordinated product concepts across multiple healthcare businesses.
  • Scope and size new opportunities, develop business cases, articulate product strategies, identify monetization levers, and evaluate commercial and operational feasibility.
  • Use reporting and analytical tools to extract and assess formularies, drug lists, clinical information, financial models, and other relevant data.
  • Analyze claims utilization and volume, including margins, trends, indications, drug-level market share, channel management, patient behavior, benchmarks, and key performance indicators.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights by identifying gaps and opportunities, defining product features, and developing concepts and prototypes.
  • Create clear visualizations of findings using graphs, charts, reports, and other visualization tools to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Manage product initiatives and coordinate project activities to ensure milestones are achieved and solutions are delivered according to schedule.
  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare and/or the pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required; an advanced degree or MBA is desirable.
  • Experience in areas such as supply chain, product management, strategic planning, program management, and regulated healthcare markets including Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Understanding of PBM technology systems is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to break complex problems into manageable components.
  • Ability to evaluate data, translate findings into insights, and turn those insights into actions that create additional value.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous, evolving, or unfamiliar situations, with a structured approach to diagnosing problems, evaluating alternatives, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Strong strategic thinking, organization, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Fully remote, full-time work arrangement.
  • Remote work available in Missouri, Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.
  • Opportunity to independently lead strategic product initiatives with meaningful business impact.
  • Exposure to healthcare, pharmacy, PBM, Medicare, Medicaid, and regulated-market environments.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product, technology, analytics, clinical, and business teams.
  • Opportunity to influence new product concepts, business cases, pricing strategies, benefit designs, service models, and product positioning.
  • Significant exposure to healthcare data, market analysis, financial modeling, and customer insights.
  • Fast-paced environment with opportunities to contribute to innovative pharmacy and healthcare solutions.
  • Opportunity to develop expertise across product strategy, business development, analytics, and program management.
  • For permanent or occasional work from home, a cable broadband or fiber optic internet connection with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
