As a Revenue Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in helping sales teams achieve scalable growth through data-driven insights, performance analysis, and operational excellence. You will partner with sales leadership to optimize productivity, improve forecasting, and strengthen decision-making across the revenue organization. By developing dashboards, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks, you will turn complex data into actionable strategies that drive measurable business results. You will also use experimentation, automation, and AI-powered tools to streamline workflows and improve sales effectiveness. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams, you will help build scalable processes that support an expanding organization. Accountabilities:
- Sales leadership and strategic insights: Partner with sales leaders to provide data-driven recommendations, forecasting support, and performance analysis that inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Sales performance management: Develop and maintain reporting frameworks, dashboards, scorecards, and key performance indicators to monitor sales attainment, individual and team productivity, and pipeline health.
- Productivity and prioritization: Design tools and frameworks that help sales representatives focus on high-value activities, prioritize accounts effectively, and improve efficiency throughout the sales funnel.
- Sales operations and administration: Support and optimize territory assignments, quota setting, incentive tracking, and CRM data management to reduce administrative workloads and improve reporting accuracy.
- Experimental design and analysis: Develop and evaluate A/B tests, pilot programs, and cohort analyses to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies, incentive programs, and operational changes.
- Scalable reporting and processes: Build repeatable workflows, dashboards, and reporting structures that enable effective management of growing sales teams and increasingly complex operations.
- Operational improvement: Identify bottlenecks, analyze workflow inefficiencies, and recommend practical improvements that strengthen sales effectiveness, resource allocation, and market coverage.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Product, and other relevant stakeholders to align revenue operations initiatives with broader business objectives.
- Data analysis and modeling: Extract, transform, analyze, and structure data to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and support evidence-based business decisions.
- AI and automation: Leverage AI-powered tools and automation solutions to streamline reporting, improve analytical efficiency, and scale operational insights.
- Continuous optimization: Monitor sales processes and performance trends, communicate findings to stakeholders, and recommend initiatives that support accountability and ongoing improvement.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in a highly analytical role within Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, business analysis, or a comparable function.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Domo, Power BI, or Looker, including the ability to build clear, impactful dashboards.
- Possess expert-level Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas, and other techniques for analyzing and organizing complex datasets.
- Have strong hands-on experience with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce, including report generation, dashboard development, and sales data management.
- Demonstrate practical experience using AI or automation tools to improve workplace efficiency, streamline operational processes, or scale reporting and analytical capabilities.
- Possess a solid understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, revenue performance indicators, sales productivity metrics, and forecasting principles.
- Have strong analytical and moderately advanced technical skills, including the ability to query, transform, model, and interpret data to generate actionable business insights.
- Communicate complex analytical findings clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders, translating data into practical recommendations and business strategies.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking, attention to detail, and a structured approach to problem-solving, with the ability to connect analytical findings to broader business objectives.
- Be comfortable working independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing competing demands, and adapting to a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with SQL or Python for data extraction, transformation, and modeling is an asset.
- Knowledge of lead scoring, account-based marketing (ABM), and customer lifecycle management is considered a plus.
- Be willing to travel occasionally when required, approximately 2–5 times per year.
- Competitive compensation: Annual salary ranging from CAD $70,000 to CAD $95,000, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, and other relevant factors.
