  • Develop sales opportunities: Generate leads through direct outreach, strategic partnerships, professional networking, industry events, and other relevant business development channels.
  • Build merchant relationships: Establish and maintain long-term commercial relationships with merchants in sectors such as gambling, betting, cryptocurrency, forex, and other high-risk verticals.
  • Present payment solutions: Understand merchant requirements and demonstrate relevant payment processing solutions, highlighting their value, flexibility, and suitability for specific business models.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements: Lead commercial discussions, negotiate terms, and structure mutually beneficial agreements that support merchant growth and business profitability.
  • Assess payment requirements: Analyze merchant needs related to local payment methods, transaction conversion rates, processing volumes, settlement arrangements, and regional payment preferences.
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution: Collaborate with Business Development and Payment Operations teams to develop competitive proposals, address merchant requirements, and deliver suitable payment solutions.
  • Manage merchant onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process with internal stakeholders, resolve operational challenges, and support successful merchant activation and the start of processing activities.
  • Monitor market developments: Track payment industry trends, competitor offerings, emerging opportunities, and regulatory or market changes relevant to regional business development.
  • Expand regional market presence: Identify promising markets, merchant segments, and partnership opportunities to support geographical expansion and portfolio diversification.
  • Achieve commercial targets: Deliver against agreed merchant acquisition, revenue, and payment processing volume objectives while maintaining strong relationships and a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Relevant sales experience: At least 2 years of B2B sales experience in fintech, payment service providers (PSPs), payment gateways, or high-risk payment processing.
  • Knowledge of Asian payment markets: Practical understanding of Asian payment ecosystems, regional business practices, and local payment methods, with the ability to identify solutions suited to different markets.
  • High-risk merchant expertise: Previous experience selling payment processing solutions to merchants in high-risk industries, with an understanding of their commercial needs and operational challenges.
  • Established industry network: An existing network of merchant contacts or commercial relationships in one or more Asian markets is a strong advantage.
  • Payments industry knowledge: Understanding of payment processing, acquiring, alternative payment methods (APMs), transaction conversion, processing volumes, and settlement requirements.
  • Sales and negotiation skills: Strong prospecting, presentation, persuasion, and negotiation abilities, with a proven capacity to convert opportunities into commercial agreements.
  • Relationship management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust, maintain long-term partnerships, and work effectively with diverse international stakeholders.
  • Commercial mindset: A results-oriented approach, strong business acumen, and the ability to identify revenue opportunities, prioritize prospects, and consistently work toward sales targets.
  • Market research and analytical skills: Ability to assess competitive offerings, understand merchant requirements, and identify growth opportunities across different geographical markets.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Ability to coordinate effectively with business development and payment operations teams to support tailored proposals, onboarding, and merchant activation.
  • Language proficiency: Upper-intermediate English or higher is required. Knowledge of relevant Asian languages is an additional advantage.
  • Personal attributes: Self-motivated, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing sales activities independently while working across international markets and time zones.
  • Competitive compensation: Fixed salary combined with performance-based bonuses linked to commercial results.
  • Fully remote work: Work remotely with the flexibility to organize your schedule around business priorities and international collaboration.
  • Regional ownership: Build and expand a merchant portfolio across Asian markets while developing valuable industry relationships.
  • Career progression: Opportunities to advance toward Senior Sales Manager or Regional Head of Sales positions as the business grows.
  • Industry expertise: Collaborate with experienced payment professionals who bring more than 10 years of industry knowledge.
  • International exposure: Work with merchants and partners across diverse markets, gaining valuable experience in international payments and cross-border business development.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
