The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer based in Canada.

Join a digital solutions team developing innovative software that addresses complex water resource, engineering, and environmental challenges. In this remote role, you will build scalable, production-ready applications combining modern web technologies, geospatial data, IoT systems, and artificial intelligence. You will contribute to intelligent applications powered by agent-based workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and emerging AI orchestration frameworks. Working across frontend and backend development, you will help shape technical architecture, improve system performance, and deliver secure, reliable solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to engineering best practices, and mentor junior developers. This is an opportunity to apply your full stack expertise to meaningful projects while helping advance the use of AI and digital technologies in environmental management.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend applications using modern frameworks, tools, and architectural patterns.
  • Build, integrate, and optimize REST, GraphQL, and other APIs to support secure, reliable, and high-performance systems.
  • Apply best practices in code quality, application security, performance optimization, and testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to AI-powered features and intelligent application components, including agent-based workflows and multi-step or multi-agent systems.
  • Support the implementation of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector-based data access, and contextual retrieval strategies.
  • Collaborate on architectures that support agent orchestration and agent-to-agent (A2A) communication.
  • Develop and execute automated testing strategies to improve application reliability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Deploy applications through continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, partnering with DevOps teams to support monitoring, scalability, and production readiness.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across frontend, backend, API, and integration layers.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, DevOps specialists, and domain experts to design solutions and deliver product features.
  • Participate in code reviews and continuously improve engineering standards, development processes, and technical practices.
  • Mentor and support junior developers across frontend, backend, and integration development.
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience. Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining full stack web applications.
  • Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks, particularly React, including Context API and Hooks.
  • Backend development experience using C#/.NET and JavaScript or TypeScript technologies, such as Node.js, Next.js, and Express.
  • Solid understanding of API design, data integration, software architecture, and application performance.
  • Experience with geospatial technologies such as ESRI, PostGIS, or Mapbox.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and deliver effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Experience designing or contributing to agentic systems, including multi-step workflows or multi-agent applications.
  • Understanding of RAG patterns, agent orchestration concepts, and agent-to-agent communication models.
  • Familiarity with AI development tools and assistants, such as Claude or Cursor.
  • A proactive approach to learning, evaluating, and applying emerging technologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and Kubernetes-based environments.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience building and deploying AI-driven or agent-based applications in production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-agent orchestration, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and standardized access to local and remote data sources.
  • Practical experience implementing RAG solutions, including document ingestion, vector storage, and contextual retrieval.
  • Annual salary range of CAD $120,411–$210,704.
  • Remote work arrangement, subject to the geographic eligibility requirements.
  • Opportunities for professional learning, development, and career growth.
  • Work on innovative digital solutions addressing water resource management and environmental challenges.
  • Potential eligibility for discretionary bonuses, depending on the applicable compensation arrangements.
  • Inclusive and supportive work environment with reasonable accommodations available during the application process.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
