The posting
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Meta Ads Strategist and Media Buyer (Client-Facing) based in the United States.
Take ownership of paid social strategy and execution for a portfolio of premium and luxury direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands in a performance-driven, fully remote environment. As a Senior Meta Ads Strategist and Media Buyer, you will manage substantial advertising budgets, optimize campaign performance, and develop creative testing strategies that drive profitable growth. You will combine hands-on campaign management with strategic thinking, using data and experimentation to improve return on ad spend and overall business outcomes. Working directly with clients, you will communicate results, present actionable recommendations, and guide investment decisions with confidence. You will also collaborate across creative and marketing channels to ensure campaigns remain aligned with business objectives. This role is ideal for an experienced media buyer who thrives on accountability, client relationships, and measurable performance.
Accountabilities:
- Own the Meta advertising strategy and day-to-day execution for a portfolio of four to five client accounts, including campaign structure, budget allocation, pacing, testing, optimization, and scaling.
- Manage monthly Meta advertising budgets of $100,000 or more per account, working toward agreed performance targets for Marketing Efficiency Ratio (MER), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and Cost per Acquisition (CPA).
- Configure, monitor, and quality-check tracking infrastructure, including Meta Pixel, Conversions API (CAPI), event quality, product catalogs, and product feed health.
- Develop and execute structured creative testing strategies, brief creative teams, evaluate delivered assets, and translate creative performance insights into campaign optimization decisions.
- Monitor campaign performance, identify growth opportunities, and implement data-driven improvements to increase efficiency and support profitable revenue growth.
- Support Google Ads, TikTok, and other relevant advertising channels, providing informed recommendations on cross-channel budget allocation and overall media strategy.
- Lead the Meta advertising portion of client meetings, explain performance trends clearly, present strategic recommendations, and challenge requests when they do not align with the client's best interests.
- Maintain detailed testing documentation and change logs, recording the outcomes and conclusions of every experiment to inform future decisions.
- Ensure campaigns are launched accurately by implementing rigorous quality assurance processes and preventing client-visible setup or execution errors.
- Manage client accounts independently, resolving routine media questions and escalating issues only when necessary.
- Track progress against monthly performance objectives, aiming to have at least 80% of assigned accounts meeting their monthly targets by the fourth month.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in a remote-first environment to maintain high standards of execution, transparency, and accountability.
- At least 4 years of hands-on paid social advertising experience at a marketing agency or high-growth brand.
- Deep expertise in Meta Ads, including Advantage+, Campaign Budget Optimization (CBO), signal quality, Conversions API (CAPI), and incrementality measurement.
- Demonstrated experience independently managing Meta advertising budgets of at least $100,000 per month, with documented improvements in campaign efficiency and performance.
- Direct-to-consumer (DTC) or e-commerce marketing experience, ideally supporting premium or luxury brands with high average order values (AOV).
- Practical knowledge of Google Ads and the ability to contribute meaningfully to cross-channel media discussions, even without deep specialization in Google advertising.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Looker Studio, Shopify, and digital advertising attribution methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, evaluate experiments, and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the confidence to lead client conversations, communicate complex performance insights, and defend strategic recommendations.
- Strong client management skills, including expectation setting, clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to challenge decisions constructively.
- A high degree of ownership, attention to detail, and accountability for campaign performance and execution quality.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
- Must be based in the United States or Canada and able to maintain sufficient overlap with US time zones for client meetings.
- Monthly contract compensation ranging from $4,000 to $5,500 USD.
- Full-time independent contractor arrangement.
- Fully remote working environment.
- Paid time off.
- Paid company holidays.
- Flexible Fridays.
- Quarterly bonus opportunities based on performance.
- Remote-first collaboration with a team focused on transparency, accountability, and measurable results.
- Opportunities to take ownership of substantial advertising budgets and develop strategies for premium and luxury e-commerce brands.
