The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Designer based in the United States.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced product designer to shape a native mobile banking experience that helps customers manage their finances with confidence. The Senior Product Designer will lead end-to-end design initiatives, transforming complex customer needs, business objectives, and regulatory requirements into intuitive, accessible, and trustworthy digital experiences. Working across iOS and Android, this individual will influence product direction, drive customer-centered innovation, and establish scalable design standards. The role combines research, strategic problem-solving, interaction design, prototyping, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. It also offers the opportunity to leverage AI-powered design tools to accelerate exploration and improve design-to-development workflows. The successful candidate will help deliver cohesive, high-quality experiences while championing design excellence and continuous improvement across the product ecosystem.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead end-to-end product design for complex mobile banking features and customer journeys, from problem identification and opportunity definition to prototyping, validation, implementation, and iteration.
  • Translate customer needs, business objectives, technical constraints, data, and regulatory requirements into clear product opportunities and intuitive user experiences.
  • Map customer journeys, define user flows, explore concepts, develop prototypes, and deliver production-ready designs.
  • Plan, conduct, and synthesize customer research and usability testing, using insights to inform product decisions and validate design solutions.
  • Shape the future of native iOS and Android experiences, ensuring usability, accessibility, trust, and adherence to platform best practices.
  • Establish scalable design patterns, frameworks, reusable components, and interaction standards to improve consistency across the product ecosystem.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools, including Figma Make, Figma MCP, and emerging technologies, to accelerate design exploration, prototyping, documentation, research synthesis, and delivery.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Content teams throughout discovery, planning, implementation, testing, and release.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements while maintaining clarity, usability, and customer understanding.
  • Review implemented experiences for design quality, accessibility, platform consistency, and alignment with approved specifications.
  • Support release readiness by identifying experience risks, validating critical customer journeys, and assisting with issue triage.
  • Communicate design strategy, rationale, dependencies, and risks to cross-functional partners and leadership.
  • Facilitate workshops and design critiques to resolve ambiguity, build alignment, and move teams toward actionable decisions.
  • Champion design excellence through constructive feedback, coaching, shared standards, and continuous improvement across product teams.
  • At least 6 years of professional product design experience, ideally involving complex mobile products or services.
  • A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking, strong interaction and visual design, and meaningful customer or business outcomes.
  • Experience designing native mobile applications for both iOS and Android.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, design libraries, prototyping, documentation, and developer-ready design specifications.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted tools and workflows to accelerate exploration, prototyping, documentation, research synthesis, and design-to-development collaboration.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex workflows and design trustworthy experiences for high-stakes customer interactions.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
  • Experience planning customer research, conducting usability testing, or partnering with research specialists.
  • Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative evidence to inform, validate, and communicate design decisions.
  • Confidence navigating ambiguity, balancing competing priorities, and independently driving complex initiatives forward.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Product, Engineering, Content, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, and business teams.
  • Excellent facilitation, storytelling, presentation, and design-rationale skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail while maintaining a broader perspective on customer journeys and product strategy.
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, identity, security, or another regulated industry is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Competitive compensation: Annual salary ranging from $89,800 to $134,700, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, performance, and work location.
  • Potential incentive compensation: Eligibility to participate in applicable incentive or short-term compensation plans.
  • Healthcare coverage: Medical and prescription drug benefits for eligible employees and their eligible dependents.
  • Retirement savings: Access to a 401(k) retirement savings plan.
  • Employee assistance: Employee Assistance Program (EAP) supporting personal well-being.
  • Fitness and wellness: Access to virtual fitness center programs.
  • Employee discounts: Participation in an associate discount program.
  • Additional insurance: Automatic enrollment in Business Travel Accident Insurance.
  • Tax preparation benefit: Access to an associate tax preparation benefit.
  • Professional growth: Opportunities to develop product design expertise, explore AI-enabled workflows, and contribute to meaningful digital financial experiences.
  • Remote work: The position is advertised as remote, offering flexibility in how work is performed.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
