The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Designer – Enterprise Security Platform based in the United States.

We’re looking for a senior, product-focused designer to shape intuitive, scalable experiences for a sophisticated enterprise cybersecurity platform. You’ll turn complex security data, interconnected systems, and technical workflows into clear, actionable experiences for a wide range of users. Working closely with Product and Engineering, you’ll influence the product from early discovery through implementation and launch. You’ll also help establish the design system, strengthen product quality, and integrate AI into both the design process and customer experiences. While most of your time will focus on product design, you’ll contribute to brand consistency and key marketing initiatives. This is an opportunity to become the senior design voice in a fast-moving, collaborative environment, with the potential to help build and lead the design function as it grows.

Accountabilities

  • Own end-to-end product design across complex enterprise security workflows, including risk assessment, remediation, governance, reporting, and administration.
  • Simplify data-heavy interfaces such as vulnerability lists, workload inventories, cluster views, dashboards, and risk summaries through effective information architecture, navigation, filtering, search, visualization, and drill-down interactions.
  • Design scalable interaction models for enterprise capabilities, including roles and permissions, policies, multi-environment management, onboarding, audit, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers from early problem definition through delivery, challenging assumptions and identifying practical solutions to customer needs.
  • Develop concepts, user flows, prototypes, detailed interactions, and production-ready interfaces, testing ideas early and refining them through customer conversations, usability research, product analytics, and behavioral data.
  • Remain involved throughout implementation to ensure the quality, usability, and consistency of shipped experiences.
  • Build and evolve the design system, including reusable components, interaction patterns, navigation standards, data presentation, and feedback states, balancing consistency with the need for rapid delivery.
  • Integrate AI tools into research, exploration, prototyping, content development, and iteration, while helping define effective AI-assisted and agent-driven product experiences.
  • Contribute to brand and marketing design, including website experiences, product launches, campaigns, technical diagrams, presentations, and sales materials.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and specialists when additional design capacity is needed, and help establish design practices, quality standards, and collaboration processes.
  • Support the growth of the design function by sharing expertise, mentoring designers where appropriate, and helping define how the team should evolve.
  • At least 5 years of product design experience, with substantial experience in complex B2B, enterprise, platform, developer, infrastructure, data, or operational products.
  • A portfolio demonstrating shipped software products, particularly complex workflows and data-intensive interfaces, with evidence of taking work from problem definition through launch.
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to understand how users, data, permissions, navigation, objects, and workflows interact across a product.
  • Excellent interaction design, information architecture, UX, and visual design skills, with the ability to simplify technical complexity without losing important detail.
  • Experience designing interfaces that help users navigate, understand, and act on large or interconnected datasets.
  • Strong product judgment, problem-solving skills, and the confidence to challenge requirements when a better solution exists.
  • Proven ability to collaborate directly and iteratively with Product Managers and Engineers, operate independently, and make progress in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
  • Advanced Figma skills, including components, variables, design systems, responsive layouts, and prototyping.
  • Practical, regular use of modern AI tools in the design process, alongside a thoughtful approach to their value, limitations, and appropriate application.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts and collaborate effectively across disciplines.
  • U.S. citizenship, required because the role supports federal government projects.
  • A portfolio link is required when applying. A detailed walkthrough of a complex, data-heavy product you helped bring from initial problem to shipped experience is particularly valuable.
  • Background in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, observability, developer tools, or developer platforms.
  • Experience with container security, Kubernetes, vulnerability management, or software supply chain security.
  • Familiarity with role-based access control (RBAC), policy management, governance, compliance, auditing, administration, or multi-tenant systems.
  • Experience designing products involving large, complex, or highly interconnected datasets.
  • Experience shipping AI-native or agent-driven product experiences and prototyping with tools such as Cursor, v0, Claude, or ChatGPT.
  • Experience using product analytics to assess and improve user experiences.
  • Experience mentoring designers, managing external design partners, or serving as the senior design lead in a small organization.
  • Total compensation package: $180,000, including base salary, performance bonus, and equity options.
  • Retirement savings: 401(k) plan with a company match.
  • Healthcare: Comprehensive health benefits.
  • Time off: Unlimited paid time off (PTO).
  • Remote flexibility: Remote position open to candidates based in the United States, with preference given to candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area.
  • Career development: Opportunity to influence product direction, establish design practices, and potentially help build and lead the design team as the organization grows.
  • Meaningful impact: Work on challenging enterprise cybersecurity problems where thoughtful design can improve how customers understand risk and make decisions.
  • Collaborative environment: Work directly with Product and Engineering in a fast-moving team that values ownership, experimentation, and high-quality execution.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
