The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager based in the United States.

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a growing two-sided marketplace connecting businesses and individuals with unique spaces for meetings, productions, and events. As Senior Product Manager, you will own the host-side product experience, from onboarding and activation to listing quality and the tools that help hosts manage their businesses successfully. You will work directly with hosts to understand their needs, uncover friction points, and translate customer insights into impactful product solutions. Partnering with engineering, design, customer experience, supply operations, and other stakeholders, you will define product strategy and drive execution from discovery through launch. Your work will directly influence host engagement, marketplace performance, and measurable business growth. Joining a small, collaborative, remote-first team, you will have significant ownership, the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, and the ability to deliver meaningful results quickly.

Accountabilities

  • Host Product Strategy: Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the host side of the marketplace, ensuring that product initiatives support host success, marketplace growth, and long-term business objectives.
  • Host Onboarding and Activation: Improve the onboarding journey and activation processes to help hosts create compelling listings, start transacting, and establish successful businesses on the platform.
  • Listing Quality and Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve listing completeness, presentation, and quality, helping hosts showcase their spaces effectively and attract potential customers.
  • Host Management Tools: Develop and optimize tools that enable hosts to manage their businesses efficiently, including messaging, availability management, scheduling, and other essential operational workflows.
  • Customer Research and Market Insights: Engage regularly with hosts, analyze product data, review customer experience feedback, and assess competitor offerings and market trends to identify unmet needs and product opportunities.
  • Product Discovery and Solution Design: Translate customer insights and business opportunities into creative, well-scoped product solutions that balance host needs, guest experience, and overall marketplace health.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, customer experience, and supply operations teams to align priorities, gather input, and ensure successful product development and delivery.
  • End-to-End Product Execution: Lead initiatives from opportunity identification and prioritization through development, launch, measurement, and continuous improvement, ensuring that teams deliver meaningful customer value.
  • Business Performance and Metrics: Define key performance indicators, establish measurement and tracking processes, and take ownership of measurable outcomes rather than focusing solely on feature delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management and Influence: Present strategic options with clear recommendations, communicate product decisions effectively, influence executive stakeholders, and encourage constructive debate when it benefits customers and the business.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor product performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and refine roadmaps based on customer feedback, market dynamics, and business results.
  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years of product management experience, ideally within a two-sided marketplace and preferably focused on the supply side.
  • Marketplace Expertise: Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, including supply acquisition, host activation, engagement, retention, and the relationship between supply quality and overall marketplace performance.
  • Customer-Centric Product Development: Demonstrated ability to engage directly with customers, understand their workflows and challenges, and translate insights into products that solve meaningful problems.
  • Product Strategy and Roadmapping: Experience defining product visions, identifying market opportunities, prioritizing initiatives, and developing roadmaps that align customer needs with business objectives.
  • End-to-End Execution: Proven ability to move from strategic opportunity identification to detailed planning, cross-functional execution, successful launches, and continuous product improvement.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Experience defining product metrics, measuring performance, and demonstrating the business impact of product initiatives through measurable outcomes.
  • Technical and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to partner effectively with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to develop and deliver high-quality products.
  • Communication and Executive Influence: Strong presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to explain complex decisions, evaluate multiple options, provide clear recommendations, and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Entrepreneurial Mindset: Creative, analytical, and resourceful approach to solving complex challenges, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and practical execution in a fast-moving environment.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to motivate teams, align diverse stakeholders, provide constructive feedback, and foster productive working relationships without relying solely on formal authority.
  • Adaptability and Growth Mindset: Open-minded, self-aware, and committed to continuous learning, with a genuine passion for product development and customer-focused innovation.
  • Competitive Salary: Annual base salary ranging from $155,000 to $170,000, depending on experience, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market data.
  • Equity Compensation: Equity opportunities as part of the overall compensation package.
  • Comprehensive Healthcare: 100% employer-paid employee coverage for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Remote-First Work Environment: Flexibility to work remotely, with team members located across different cities and regions.
  • Home Office Equipment: Company-provided laptop, high-resolution display, and a stipend to help set up your home office.
  • Connectivity Support: Monthly cell phone and internet credit to support remote work.
  • Booking Discounts: Discounts on marketplace bookings.
  • Company-Wide Gatherings: Annual in-person company offsites and team-building events hosted in unique venue locations.
  • Wellness Days: Company-wide wellness days to support employee well-being and work-life balance.
  • Inclusive Culture: A collaborative workplace that values diversity, equity, inclusion, open communication, and individual ownership.
  • Professional Impact and Growth: The opportunity to shape product strategy, influence marketplace performance, and take meaningful ownership in a growing organization.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
