This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager - GRC based in United States.

As a Senior Product Manager - GRC, you will drive product strategy and execution for a Governance, Risk, and Compliance platform serving organizations navigating complex regulatory environments. You’ll translate customer and market needs into product innovation, positioning, and measurable business outcomes. The role combines product management, market intelligence, sales enablement, customer engagement, and go-to-market strategy. You’ll work across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, partners, and customers to shape solutions for evolving compliance, risk, assurance, and operational resilience needs. As a customer-facing product leader, you’ll represent the product organization in meetings, presentations, and webinars. This global role has a strong focus on North America and offers significant influence over product direction, market adoption, and commercial success.

Accountabilities:

  • Drive product strategy and market understanding: Develop and continuously refine your understanding of buyer challenges, customer needs, competitive dynamics, buying stages, and product usage to inform product strategy and execution.
  • Analyze market opportunities: Conduct industry trend, competitive, and win/loss analysis to identify market opportunities, differentiators, and initiatives that can increase market share.
  • Shape product positioning and messaging: Develop clear, compelling positioning and messaging based on customer, market, and competitive insights to strengthen buyer engagement across multiple channels.
  • Drive product innovation: Collaborate across the Product organization to identify opportunities, prioritize requirements, validate product delivery, and ensure solutions address evolving compliance, regulatory, risk, assurance, and resilience needs.
  • Enable sales success: Create sales enablement materials including product comparisons, playbooks, solution sheets, success stories, and other resources designed to improve win rates and connect customer needs to product capabilities.
  • Deliver product and sales training: Develop training, scripting, and messaging that help sales teams communicate product value effectively and overcome obstacles throughout the sales funnel.
  • Support launches and go-to-market initiatives: Partner with Product Marketing to plan and promote successful product launches while contributing to broader go-to-market strategies.
  • Represent the product externally: Participate in customer meetings, presentations, webinars, and partner engagements, serving as a knowledgeable product representative and trusted advisor.
  • Build and communicate business cases: Develop compelling business cases and clearly communicate product value to customers, partners, sales teams, and senior leadership.
  • Leverage AI in product management: Apply an AI-focused product management mindset and actively use AI capabilities and practices to improve product strategy, analysis, execution, and decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work effectively with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, partners, customers, and other stakeholders to align product priorities with market requirements and business objectives.
  • GRC and risk expertise: At least 8 years of experience in risk management, audit, compliance, controls, or related functions, with a strong understanding of governance and regulatory environments.
  • Product management experience: At least 2 years of B2B product management or product marketing experience, preferably within GRC software or a closely related technology environment.
  • GRC frameworks: Strong knowledge of Compliance, Risk, Control, Audit, and Resilience frameworks, including SOX, ISO 31000, IIA, ISAE, SSAE, and related standards.
  • AI product mindset: Demonstrated ability and willingness to incorporate AI into product management practices and workflows.
  • Market and competitive analysis: Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to evaluate market trends, competitive positioning, customer needs, and business opportunities.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to create concise, compelling messaging and present effectively to customers, partners, sales teams, and senior leaders.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Proven experience working across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, and other business functions.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business and regulatory challenges into practical product opportunities.
  • Organization and ownership: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Initiative: Self-starter mentality with strong ownership, initiative, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable operating in a changing environment and working across multiple geographies, customer groups, and business priorities.
  • Competitive Compensation: Base salary of $100,000–$115,000 USD annually, plus potential bonus or commission opportunities; exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
