The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Social Insights Strategist (Healthcare) based in the United States.

Are you passionate about uncovering meaningful insights from social conversations and transforming data into impactful healthcare marketing strategies? This role offers the opportunity to analyze how patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals discuss medical conditions, treatments, and health-related topics online. You will translate social listening data and digital performance metrics into actionable recommendations that shape messaging, content development, audience targeting, and campaign strategies. Working closely with account management, creative, content, and strategy teams, you will help healthcare and pharmaceutical brands better understand their audiences and communicate more effectively. You will combine analytical expertise, industry knowledge, and compelling storytelling to explain not just what the data reveals, but why it matters. Joining a collaborative, fully remote analytics team, you will benefit from streamlined reporting processes that allow you to focus on strategic thinking, meaningful discoveries, and continuous innovation. If you have experience in healthcare marketing, a curiosity about online behavior, and a talent for turning complex information into clear insights, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing field.

Accountabilities

  • Analyze healthcare conversations: Monitor online discussions among patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to identify emerging trends, audience needs, perceptions, concerns, and opportunities relevant to healthcare and pharmaceutical brands.
  • Transform data into actionable insights: Interpret social listening findings and translate them into practical recommendations for messaging, audience targeting, content development, and campaign optimization.
  • Communicate insights through storytelling: Present analytical findings in a clear, compelling, and accessible way, explaining the meaning behind the numbers to internal teams and clients.
  • Monitor social media performance: Evaluate organic and social content performance across platforms such as Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X, identifying successful approaches and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze broader digital performance: Incorporate website analytics and organic content metrics into reporting to provide a comprehensive view of audience engagement and digital effectiveness.
  • Develop reports and dashboards: Create accurate, visually engaging, and easy-to-understand reports and dashboards that support client presentations and internal decision-making.
  • Collaborate across teams: Partner with account management, content, creative, and strategy colleagues throughout campaign planning, execution, measurement, and performance evaluation.
  • Support healthcare marketing strategy: Apply an understanding of pharmaceutical marketing, medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) review processes, and audience sensitivities to ensure insights are relevant and appropriate for healthcare communications.
  • Contribute to analytics innovation: Help strengthen analytics capabilities by exploring new tools, improving reporting approaches, and identifying opportunities to introduce surveys, research initiatives, and additional insight methodologies.
  • Improve analytical efficiency: Explore ways to streamline recurring reporting and research workflows, including the use of AI tools to reduce manual work and create more time for strategic analysis.
  • Relevant professional experience: 2–4 years of experience in social media analytics, social listening, social insights, or marketing analytics, with direct experience supporting healthcare or pharmaceutical brands. Agency experience is a strong advantage.
  • Social listening expertise: Hands-on experience with at least one social listening platform and the ability to demonstrate how an insight you uncovered influenced a team's decisions or actions.
  • Healthcare and pharmaceutical knowledge: Working understanding of healthcare marketing, pharmaceutical communications, MLR review processes, compliance considerations, and the sensitivities involved in communicating about health conditions and treatments.
  • Analytical and interpretive skills: Ability to examine social and digital performance data, identify meaningful patterns, distinguish relevant insights from noise, and develop evidence-based recommendations.
  • Data storytelling: Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex findings into compelling narratives that resonate with clients and colleagues who may not have technical or analytical backgrounds.
  • Reporting and visualization: Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
  • Social media knowledge: Familiarity with major social platforms and the ability to evaluate organic content performance, audience engagement, and emerging online conversations.
  • Attention to detail: Strong quality-control skills, with a commitment to data accuracy, reliable reporting, and consistency across analytical deliverables.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Ability to work effectively with account, content, creative, and strategy teams, adapting insights to different business needs and project objectives.
  • Curiosity and initiative: A proactive mindset, intellectual curiosity, and enthusiasm for exploring new analytical methods, tools, and approaches to healthcare audience research.
  • Remote work capabilities: Ability to manage responsibilities independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed team working primarily on Eastern Time.
  • Experience with website analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
  • Background in survey design, market research, academic research, or related analytical disciplines.
  • Interest in using AI tools to accelerate reporting, streamline research, and improve analytical workflows.
  • Experience presenting insights and recommendations directly to clients or senior stakeholders.
  • Competitive salary: Annual compensation ranging from $60,000 to $80,000.
  • Comprehensive healthcare: Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Retirement savings: Access to a 401(k) plan.
  • Paid vacation: 15 days of vacation initially, with an additional day for each year of employment.
  • Flexible time off: Unlimited flexible time off and unlimited sick days.
  • Remote-first work environment: Fully remote position open to candidates across the United States, with the team working primarily on Eastern Time.
  • Home office support: A $500 home office stipend upon joining.
  • Team connection: An annual in-person team offsite to build relationships and strengthen collaboration.
  • Professional development: Opportunities to explore new analytics tools, contribute to research initiatives, and help shape the evolution of the analytics function.
  • Meaningful work: The opportunity to support healthcare and pharmaceutical brands by uncovering audience insights that can improve communication, content relevance, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Collaborative culture: A team environment that values curiosity, innovation, continuous improvement, and thoughtful contributions.
  • Focus on strategic work: Streamlined reporting processes that reduce repetitive manual tasks and allow more time for analysis, insight generation, and strategic recommendations.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
