The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Endpoint Administrator based in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Endpoint Administrator to lead endpoint management operations and ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology services for a distributed workforce. In this role, you will oversee the provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of endpoint devices across a remote and global environment. You will drive hardware standardization, software deployment, security patching, and operating system updates while ensuring systems meet business and security requirements. Working closely with IT operations, service desk teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors, you will resolve complex technical issues and continuously improve service delivery. You will also lead technical projects, monitor performance indicators, manage resources, and provide actionable insights to leadership. This is an opportunity to combine advanced technical expertise with operational leadership and customer-focused problem-solving in a fast-paced enterprise IT environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead endpoint management operations: Oversee the delivery, configuration, provisioning, and ongoing support of standardized endpoint equipment and services for internal users and external clients.
  • Manage endpoint lifecycle and deployments: Coordinate device imaging, software packaging, configuration policies, global hardware deployments, security patches, operating system updates, and software releases.
  • Establish hardware standards: Evaluate and select endpoint hardware, including laptops and other end-user devices, and negotiate bulk purchasing agreements with manufacturers and resellers.
  • Maintain system reliability and security: Monitor endpoint performance, patch compliance, lifecycle status, and operational stability to ensure supported devices meet business, security, and service requirements.
  • Oversee incidents and problem resolution: Manage endpoint-related service requests, incidents, and problems; analyze recurring issues; participate in root cause investigations; and coordinate remediation activities with relevant technical teams.
  • Drive technical projects: Lead assigned endpoint initiatives, overseeing project budgets, implementation timelines, resource allocation, vendor coordination, and delivery outcomes.
  • Monitor performance and reporting: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze operational trends, and deliver weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports to management on endpoint performance, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Build strong relationships with business users, department managers, IT operations, and service desk teams to identify business needs, resolve technical challenges, and improve service quality.
  • Manage vendors and service agreements: Coordinate vendor relationships and daily operational requirements while contributing to improvements in Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Business Level Agreements (BLAs).
  • Support users and communicate changes: Promote new products, services, and processes; provide user training; communicate outages and emergency activities; and follow up with users after issue resolution.
  • Improve documentation and processes: Review and enhance standard operating procedures, FAQs, and technical documentation to improve end-user support, consistency, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure responsible data handling: Protect confidential information, escalate emerging operational risks, and continuously develop technical and management capabilities.
  • Education and experience: Associate degree in a technical field or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience, with at least six years of relevant industry experience, including substantial experience in endpoint management or a related discipline. Experience at a senior associate level or equivalent is expected.
  • Endpoint management expertise: Extensive knowledge of endpoint provisioning, hardware lifecycle management, software deployment, device configuration, operating system updates, security patching, and troubleshooting across enterprise environments.
  • Technical proficiency: Strong experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Active Directory, Microsoft 365 (O365), Windows operating systems, file shares, and Windows Server 2012 or later.
  • Hardware and infrastructure knowledge: Advanced understanding of desktops, laptops, smartphones, and end-user network configurations, along with solid foundational knowledge of networking and security principles.
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications are advantageous. Microsoft certifications are also a plus.
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills: Ability to investigate complex computing issues, perform root cause analysis, identify recurring incident patterns, evaluate solutions, and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Project and operational management: Experience coordinating technical projects, managing competing priorities, monitoring budgets and performance metrics, working with vendors, and delivering improvements in a high-pressure environment.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen effectively, ask relevant questions, and communicate technical concepts clearly to business and technical audiences.
  • Documentation and process improvement: Strong documentation skills and a willingness to maintain and improve procedures, knowledge bases, FAQs, and operational reporting.
  • Organization and independence: Excellent time management, attention to detail, prioritization, and research skills, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Customer service orientation: A proactive, patient, thorough, and solution-oriented approach, with a strong commitment to user satisfaction and reliable service delivery.
  • Adaptability and continuous learning: Ability to absorb new information quickly, retain technical knowledge, exercise sound judgment, and continuously improve technical and leadership capabilities.
  • Physical requirements: Ability to handle and set up technology equipment, including lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary.
  • Annual base salary: $110,000–$130,000, depending on relevant experience, education, skills, training, geographic location, and market conditions.
  • Potential bonus: Certain positions may qualify for a discretionary bonus, subject to eligibility requirements and applicable program guidelines.
  • Remote work flexibility: Fully remote position based in the United States.
  • Paid time off: Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays, subject to applicable company policies.
  • Healthcare coverage: Access to medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Insurance protection: Life insurance and disability insurance benefits.
  • Retirement savings: Access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Professional growth: Opportunities to lead enterprise technology initiatives, strengthen endpoint management expertise, develop operational leadership skills, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Meaningful technical impact: The opportunity to improve endpoint security, reliability, lifecycle management, and end-user experience across a distributed organization.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
