This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Inside Account Executive Healthcare based in United States.
This is a strategic inside sales role focused on growing and retaining healthcare accounts through consultative, insight-driven selling. You will develop account growth plans, identify incremental opportunities, and secure both new and renewal contractual commitments. The role combines business development, account management, negotiation, pricing collaboration, and customer relationship management. You will engage economic and technical buying influences through phone, video, and digital channels, including senior customer executives. Success requires strong commercial judgment, analytical thinking, resilience, and the ability to navigate complex customer environments. You will collaborate closely with category specialists, customer support, revenue management, and sales teams to improve customer experiences and profitability. The position is full-time and remote, offering a results-oriented environment with opportunities for professional growth and variable compensation.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account growth plans focused on increasing revenue, profitability, retention, and long-term customer value across assigned healthcare accounts.
- Identify and secure incremental and renewal contractual commitments by engaging economic and technical buying influences through consultative and value-based sales approaches.
- Use prescribed sales tools and technology to prioritize activities, improve sales efficiency, document customer interactions, and maintain accurate account information.
- Partner with category experts and customer support teams to execute account strategies, improve purchasing experiences, and identify opportunities for additional products and services.
- Collaborate with revenue management teams on discretionary pricing decisions while ensuring adherence to contractual requirements and account terms.
- Analyze customer data, industry trends, competitive dynamics, and buying processes to uncover opportunities at both master-account and individual-site levels.
- Drive programmatic and transactional sales opportunities while supporting the implementation and adoption of new and existing customer programs.
- Consult with customers to understand their purchasing processes, operational requirements, and product needs, using this knowledge to support product selection and standardization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and other key stakeholders to support account retention, expansion, and long-term growth.
- Coordinate with customer support teams to resolve customer needs, manage account maintenance requests, and ensure a positive overall customer experience.
- Contribute to sales team initiatives by setting targets, developing growth strategies, sharing customer insights, and supporting complex business opportunities from initiation through completion.
- Minimum of 4 years of sales experience, with extensive experience in account management, prospecting, business-to-business sales, customer retention, and account growth.
- Proven experience managing programs, business development initiatives, and complex sales opportunities from initial development through completion.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, client management, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage senior-level executives through compelling presentations and strategic conversations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop account growth plans, identify incremental opportunities, set targets, and collaborate effectively with sales and support teams.
- Strong business, financial, operational, and technology acumen, combined with advanced analytical skills for interpreting customer information, data, and industry trends.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong motivation to achieve measurable results and the resilience to overcome challenges and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Ability to work independently in dynamic environments while remaining adaptable, organized, accountable, and focused on customer and business outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse customer personas and internal teams.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other standard business software tools required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Knowledge of office supplies, facilities and breakroom products, business furniture, print, and promotional products is preferred.
- Base salary of $70,400–$89,000 per year, plus monthly incentives.
