This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. IT Business Analyst (Agriculture) based in United States.

This role supports digital farm management initiatives by connecting business needs with technology solutions across agricultural operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to improve processes, support critical applications, and create measurable business value. The position combines business analysis, application support, system integration, testing, and enhancement coordination. You will help translate business requirements into clear user stories and practical technology solutions while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. The role also provides exposure to digital architecture, master data, and complex system and data integrations. You will contribute throughout the application lifecycle, from requirements gathering and testing through production deployment and end-user support. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact in a technology environment supporting modern agricultural operations.

Accountabilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and user stories, ensuring that business needs are clearly translated into actionable technology requirements.
  • Analyze existing business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend technology solutions that enhance efficiency and business outcomes.
  • Support and maintain assigned business applications, while tracking and resolving system issues, service requests, and enhancement opportunities.
  • Coordinate small application enhancements and development efforts, helping manage priorities, dependencies, and delivery activities.
  • Support system integration, digital architecture, and master data teams in initiatives related to digital farm management systems and associated data integrations.
  • Develop and execute functional testing and support user acceptance testing to validate that solutions meet business and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate application changes through production deployment and help ensure smooth implementation of approved enhancements.
  • Contribute to business case development by supporting cost-benefit assessments, risk analysis, and evaluation of proposed technology initiatives.
  • Provide end-user training and application support as needed, helping users effectively adopt and operate supported solutions.
  • Participate in an on-call support rotation when required to help maintain application availability and respond to business needs.
  • 2+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience, including requirements gathering, business process analysis, and application support.
  • Mandatory experience in Agricultural Retail or Agribusiness, with a demonstrated understanding of the industry's business processes and operational environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business needs, evaluate processes, and develop practical technology recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with sophisticated system and data integrations is preferred.
  • Project management experience or a relevant certification is preferred.
  • Willingness and availability to participate in an on-call support rotation as needed.
  • 10-month contract opportunity.
  • 100% remote position within the United States.
  • Opportunity to work within a Digital Farm Management environment at the intersection of agriculture and technology.
  • Exposure to business applications, system integrations, digital architecture, master data, and data-driven agricultural solutions.
  • Broad involvement across requirements, process improvement, testing, deployment, application support, and end-user enablement.
  • Opportunity to collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams on solutions that directly support agricultural operations.
  • Professional experience in a role combining business analysis, technology delivery, and agribusiness expertise.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
