Role Overview
The Senior Oracle Cloud HCM & Payroll Analyst will play a key role in maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing enterprise HR and payroll systems within a global business environment. This position combines strong technical expertise with functional knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM, Payroll, Time & Absence, and Recruiting modules. You will provide day-to-day application support, resolve system issues, implement enhancements, and ensure reliable system performance. Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external service partners, you will translate business needs into effective technical and functional solutions. You will also contribute to quarterly release assessments, testing, process improvements, and the adoption of new platform capabilities. Accountabilities
- Manage Oracle Cloud HCM applications: Provide day-to-day technical and functional support for Oracle Cloud HCM, Payroll, and Recruiting modules, ensuring system stability, reliability, and alignment with business requirements.
- Resolve incidents and system issues: Manage support tickets related to enhancements, defects, and bug fixes, including report corrections, interface modifications, configuration updates, new feature implementations, and security role changes.
- Coordinate technical troubleshooting: Collaborate with Oracle Support and relevant technical teams to investigate complex issues, implement fixes, and minimize disruption to business operations.
- Strengthen incident management: Record, monitor, report, and resolve business incidents involving Oracle Cloud HCM while identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures to reduce recurring issues.
- Support quarterly releases: Assess the impact of Oracle Cloud updates, analyze new capabilities, perform proof-of-concept activities, and coordinate regression testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Translate business requirements: Work with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, gather requirements, assess system limitations, and recommend application enhancements that improve efficiency and user experience.
- Develop functional and technical specifications: Convert high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and collaborate with relevant teams to ensure accurate implementation.
- Maintain system documentation: Document configuration changes, enhancements, technical solutions, and system updates to support governance, knowledge sharing, and long-term maintainability.
- Support user training and adoption: Develop training materials and provide guidance to users on new functionality, system changes, and improved processes to encourage effective adoption.
- Collaborate with implementation partners: Work closely with external implementation and managed services partners, ensuring effective knowledge transfer, visibility into ongoing work, and continuity of application support.
- Contribute to continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize Oracle Cloud HCM capabilities, streamline workflows, improve reporting, and support the development of a roadmap for future enhancements.
- Support integrations and reporting: Maintain and enhance reporting capabilities, interfaces, and data-related processes to ensure accurate, accessible, and actionable business information.
- Professional experience: At least 7 years of hands-on experience in Oracle HCM configuration, implementation, application support, or a related technical and functional role.
- Oracle Fusion HCM expertise: Strong practical knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM, including core HCM functionality, Payroll, Time & Absence, and Recruiting modules.
- Technical development skills: Experience with Oracle HCM development and related technologies, including SQL, PL/SQL, reporting tools, and shell scripting.
- Database and query expertise: Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of Oracle HCM databases, data structures, and associated technical tools.
- Reporting and analytics: Experience supporting Oracle Cloud HCM reporting capabilities, particularly BI Publisher and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) reports.
- Oracle platform knowledge: Strong understanding of Oracle HCM common features, native tools, configuration capabilities, and application support practices.
- Integration and data management: Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and related integration technologies is beneficial. Experience with HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, and OTBI is also preferred.
- Implementation experience: Previous experience implementing HCM, Payroll, Time & Absence, or Oracle Recruiting Cloud functionality in a global business environment is an advantage.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities: Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to investigate complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
- Continuous learning: Willingness and ability to learn new Oracle Cloud infrastructure tools, technologies, and platform capabilities as business needs evolve.
- Ownership and independence: Ability to manage assigned tasks autonomously, prioritize competing requirements, meet deadlines, and take responsibility for delivering high-quality outcomes.

- Documentation and training: Ability to produce clear technical documentation, functional specifications, and user training materials to support system maintenance and successful adoption.
