This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Statistician, Client Intelligence based in United States.
As a Senior Statistician, you will help transform complex healthcare data into actionable insights that inform business decisions and improve healthcare outcomes. You will work cross-functionally with analysts, data scientists, engineers, commercial stakeholders, and clients to measure the impact of healthcare programs. The role combines advanced statistical analysis, healthcare data expertise, client consulting, and strategic problem-solving. You will help evolve measurement capabilities, develop rigorous performance benchmarks, and guide teams in interpreting results. You will also contribute to advanced modeling, survey-based measurement, and third-party data partnerships. This is an opportunity to take ownership of high-impact analytical initiatives while mentoring others and influencing client-facing strategy.
Accountabilities:
- Own and continuously improve program impact measurement capabilities, working with internal teams and external analytics partners.
- Develop and maintain analytically rigorous benchmarks for evaluating program performance and effectiveness.
- Discuss standard and customized measurement methodologies with clients during pre-sales activities and present analytical findings to brand marketing and client analytics teams.
- Mentor Business Analytics Managers on interpreting measurement results, identifying actionable insights, and preparing for client discussions that support sales and renewals.
- Serve as a statistical consultant to the Data Science team, providing guidance on advanced modeling approaches and methodologies.
- Help implement and scale survey- and market research-based measurement capabilities.
- Manage relationships with third-party data and analytics vendors, including data procurement and external study partnerships.
- Contribute to data-driven decision-making by working with large-scale healthcare datasets and identifying meaningful insights beyond the immediate analytical task.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an environment that values reliability, curiosity, respect, strong data practices, and continuous learning.
- 10+ years of professional experience in a quantitative or statistical role, such as Statistician or Biostatistician, within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or a related industry.
- Hands-on experience with statistical methodologies including test-versus-control study designs, covariate adjustment techniques such as ANCOVA, clustering, and related approaches.
- Strong understanding of healthcare professional prescription and medical claims data, including how the data is collected, recorded, tracked, and interpreted by data vendors, as well as common data gaps and limitations.
- Advanced SQL and Python proficiency, including the ability to write complex queries across multiple tables and work with relevant data science libraries.
- Experience working with third-party analytics vendors such as IQVIA, including independent studies, RFP processes, contract discussions, and ongoing relationship management.
- Experience applying data science techniques such as clustering and machine learning to sponsored engagement and using prescription and diagnosis data to measure program impact.
- Proven ability to represent an organization externally and lead client conversations focused on program performance analysis.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical, analytical, commercial, and client-facing teams.
- High degree of curiosity, ownership, reliability, and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.
- Anticipated total compensation of $151,000–$207,000, depending on experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
