Join a creative, remote-first gaming environment focused on developing engaging and visually compelling mobile games. In this role, you will design intuitive user interfaces and seamless player journeys that enhance the overall gaming experience. You will contribute to a wide range of in-game features, including game screens, HUDs, menus, stores, live events, and monetization systems. Working closely with game designers, artists, and developers, you will transform creative concepts into polished, user-friendly interfaces. You will help establish consistent design systems and UI component libraries while ensuring high-quality implementation across mobile platforms. This position offers the opportunity to influence product decisions, experiment with creative solutions, and contribute directly to player engagement and product performance. You will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values autonomy, innovation, continuous learning, and meaningful contributions.

Accountabilities

  • Design intuitive user flows and engaging interfaces for mobile games, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable player experience.
  • Create wireframes, UI concepts, prototypes, and production-ready interface designs aligned with gameplay requirements and product objectives.
  • Design and develop in-game screens, heads-up displays (HUDs), menus, stores, live events, monetization features, and other elements of the player journey.
  • Build, maintain, and improve UI kits, component libraries, and design systems to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficient design workflows.
  • Prepare and optimize visual assets for integration into game engines, ensuring technical requirements and production standards are met.
  • Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and developers throughout the production lifecycle to deliver cohesive and high-quality gaming experiences.
  • Work with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs and maintain visual and functional quality within the game.
  • Refine user flows and interface solutions based on project needs, team feedback, player behavior, and evolving product priorities.
  • Apply UX principles and visual design best practices to improve usability, accessibility, engagement, and navigation across mobile interfaces.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of game systems and user experiences, supporting product goals and player satisfaction.
  • Proven experience in UI/UX design, particularly in designing interfaces and user experiences for mobile games.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, user journey mapping, interaction design, and the creation of intuitive user flows.
  • Proficiency in Figma or comparable interface design tools, with the ability to develop wireframes, prototypes, detailed UI concepts, and production-ready designs.
  • Solid knowledge of visual composition, typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Understanding of mobile platform requirements, responsive interface design, and the challenges of designing for different screen sizes.
  • Experience creating and maintaining design systems, UI kits, reusable components, and consistent interface libraries.
  • Familiarity with free-to-play (F2P) products, gameplay loops, player behavior, and the role of UI/UX in engagement and monetization.
  • Experience preparing visual assets for integration into game engines and working with Unity in a game development environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and incorporate constructive feedback.
  • A portfolio demonstrating relevant UI/UX design experience, preferably featuring mobile game interfaces and interactive user experiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance visual quality with usability and technical constraints.
  • The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and contribute effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and its more sophisticated design and prototyping capabilities.
  • Experience working on large-scale live casual or midcore game projects.
  • Experience designing UX for complex game systems, live operations (LiveOps), and evolving in-game experiences.
  • Familiarity with analytics, A/B testing, and user testing to validate design decisions and improve player engagement.
  • Flexible benefits budget: Access a personalized allowance that can be allocated to health insurance, professional education, gym memberships, or other options that support your well-being and personal development.
  • Performance-based bonuses: Receive recognition and rewards for outstanding achievements, initiative, teamwork, and measurable contributions.
  • Fully remote work: Enjoy a remote-first working environment with the flexibility to work from different locations worldwide, subject to employment arrangements.
  • Professional autonomy: Benefit from minimal bureaucracy, the freedom to bring forward ideas, and the opportunity to influence product decisions.
  • Career development: Access learning opportunities, internal training sessions, and strategic workshops to strengthen your expertise and support long-term growth.
  • Collaborative culture: Join a supportive, team-oriented environment where shared ownership, creativity, and collective success are valued.
  • Meaningful product impact: Contribute directly to the development of mobile games and create experiences that shape how players interact with products.
  • Creative challenges: Work on diverse interface elements, game systems, and player journeys while continuously developing your design skills.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
