This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Wholesale Operations Analyst based in the United States.

As a Wholesale Operations Analyst, you will provide critical operational support to a fast-growing wholesale organization and help maximize sales performance. You will manage sales orders, monitor business risks, analyze performance changes, and ensure accurate execution across the wholesale lifecycle. The role combines data analysis, customer service, order management, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with account executives, customers, distribution teams, and internal business partners to resolve issues and improve processes. Your analysis will help identify root causes, prevent recurring operational challenges, and protect revenue opportunities. This is an on-site role in Stamford, Connecticut, within a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, proactive, and comfortable moving quickly while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Accountabilities

  • Manage wholesale EDI sales orders with a focus on maximizing monthly sales output and maintaining accurate order execution.
  • Monitor upcoming order releases, current order statuses, and invoicing activity to project weekly and longer-term sales performance and identify business risks.
  • Analyze the source and financial impact of changes to weekly sales projections and communicate relevant findings to stakeholders.
  • Identify operational risks related to sales orders and take corrective action to minimize their impact.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of customer requirements and distribution center processes to support effective order management.
  • Review open orders and verify style, pricing, and other relevant information before orders are released.
  • Investigate operational issues, determine root causes, and help implement scalable solutions that prevent recurrence.
  • Support the Wholesale Sales team with day-to-day activities, including sales order entry, return authorization entry, and customer service inquiries.
  • Compile inventory transfer requests using analysis across the broader omnichannel business.
  • Support the Wholesale Operations Manager with system-related questions, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Contribute to customer chargeback audits by identifying and distinguishing underlying root causes.
  • Collaborate proactively across teams to improve operational efficiency, mitigate fallout, and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
  • Experience in the retail industry; previous wholesale experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of wholesale, order management, or retail operations processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, which is required; experience with Google Sheets is also valuable.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Blue Cherry, Cognos, Centric, NuOrder, Power BI, Manhattan, or comparable reporting and operational platforms is preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret operational data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy when working with orders, pricing, inventory, and customer information.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to collaborate with customers and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and reliable follow-through on commitments.
  • Proactive, positive, and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify issues and take ownership of resolving them.
  • Team-oriented, confident, and professional approach to working with colleagues and external partners.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and remain organized while managing competing priorities.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the brand, retail, and delivering an excellent customer experience.
  • Competitive salary package.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Commuter benefits.
  • Paid family leave.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA).
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
  • Life and disability insurance.
  • Generous employee discount.
  • On-site gym.
  • Financial wellness programs.
  • Two summer Fridays off in addition to a competitive vacation policy.
  • Paid holidays.
  • Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and welcoming workplace culture.
  • On-site work environment at the Stamford, Connecticut headquarters.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
