🚀 Full-Stack Founding Engineer (NestJS + TypeORM + Next.js)

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing As our Founding Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll be a core part of our engineering team, owning major technical decisions and setting the foundation for our product’s success. You’ll work across the backend (NestJS, TypeORM, Postgres) and frontend (Next.js, React) to build scalable, high-performing systems.

Key Responsibilities: • Own and build core features across both frontend (Next.js) and backend (NestJS, TypeORM). • Architect and optimize the backend for performance, scalability, and maintainability. • Develop and maintain a component-driven frontend UI that delivers an exceptional user experience. • Collaborate closely with the CEO, designers, and product team to shape the roadmap and user experience. • Optimize for speed and scalability, ensuring seamless performance. • Implement best practices in development, security, and database design. • Own your work—from writing code to shipping features to fixing bugs.

⚡️ Who You Are • You’re a builder. You love shipping products that solve real problems. • You move fast but know when to prioritize quality over speed. • You thrive in ambiguity. You can take ownership of projects with little direction. • You care about the service industry. Maybe you’ve worked in it, or someone you know has. • You have strong full-stack experience.

Required Skills & Experience: • 5+ years of full-stack experience in web development. • Proficiency in TypeScript, NestJS, and TypeORM. • Strong experience with React and Next.js. • Experience designing and optimizing relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred). • Understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security best practices. • Experience with cloud services (Google Cloud, AWS, or similar). • Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and containerization. • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Points For: • Experience with GraphQL. • Experience optimizing video streaming performance. • A passion for UI/UX and building engaging frontend experiences.
