The posting

Voor een van onze Partners, een grote speler in het bouwen en onderhouden van Industriële installaties, zijn we op zoek naar een Calculator/Estimator E&I om voor de aanvang van, het project te beslissen of er aangeboden zal worden op de Industriële Projecten en welke kosten er ingerekend moeten worden in de aanbieding met een focus op de E&I discipline.

Als Calculator / Estimator E&I combineer je technische kennis van elektriciteit en instrumentatie met cijfers, kostprijsberekening en projectinzicht. Je analyseert nieuwe aanvragen, brengt de technische scope in kaart en vertaalt deze naar een correcte en realistische offerte.

Je werkt voornamelijk vanuit kantoor, aangevuld met site visits om projecten technisch correct te kunnen inschatten.

De rol:

Je bent betrokken vanaf de eerste aanvraag van een nieuw project. Je analyseert lastenboeken, technische specificaties, tekeningen en andere projectdocumentatie en bepaalt wat er nodig is om het project uit te voeren.

Daarbij kijk je niet alleen naar materialen en componenten, maar ook naar manuren, personeelsbezetting, subcontracting, uitvoeringsmethodes en mogelijke projectrisico's.

Je werkt hiervoor nauw samen met engineering, aankoop, projectleiding, kwaliteit, veiligheid, leveranciers en subcontractors.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Analyseren van lastenboeken, technische specificaties en projectdocumentatie
  • In kaart brengen van de volledige E&I-scope
  • Uitvoeren van site visits en verzamelen van bijkomende technische informatie
  • Begroten van elektrische installaties, bekabeling, kabelwegen, borden, instrumentatie en bijhorende montagewerken
  • Bepalen van benodigde manuren, personeelsinzet en materiaalbehoeften
  • Opstellen en controleren van materiaallijsten
  • Overleggen met engineering, aankoop, projectleiding, kwaliteit en veiligheid
  • Opvragen en evalueren van offertes van leveranciers en subcontractors
  • Bepalen welke werkzaamheden intern worden uitgevoerd en welke worden uitbesteed
  • Opstellen van de totale projectcalculatie, inclusief indirecte kosten en risico's
  • Meedenken over werkmethodes en een efficiënte uitvoeringsaanpak
  • Voorbereiden en bespreken van de finale kostprijs tijdens interne tenderbesprekingen
  • Deelnemen aan technische en commerciële besprekingen met klanten
  • Opvolgen en aanpassen van offertes tijdens het tenderproces
  • Vergelijken van begrote en werkelijke projectkosten via nacalculatie
  • Overdragen van het volledige calculatiedossier aan het projectteam na gunning
  • Beheren en actualiseren van offerte- en projectinformatie in het CRM-systeem

Wie zoeken we?

Je hebt een technische achtergrond binnen Electrical & Instrumentation en begrijpt hoe E&I-werkzaamheden binnen een industriële omgeving worden voorbereid en uitgevoerd.

Ervaring als Calculator of Estimator is uiteraard interessant, maar geen absolute vereiste. Ook wanneer je vandaag actief bent als E&I Werkvoorbereider, E&I Engineer of in een technisch coördinerende functie en je graag meer met kostprijzen en offertes wilt werken, kan deze functie een interessante volgende stap zijn.

Daarnaast:

  • Heb je een hoger technisch diploma of ben je gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Heb je bij voorkeur enkele jaren ervaring binnen industriële E&I
  • Ken je elektrische materialen, instrumentatie en industriële installaties
  • Kun je technische tekeningen, specificaties en lastenboeken interpreteren
  • Heb je inzicht in materiaalprijzen, manuren en uitvoeringsmethodes
  • Heb je affiniteit met calculatie, kostprijsberekening en commerciële offertes
  • Is ervaring met calculatie-, planning- of kostenbewakingssoftware een pluspunt
  • Werk je vlot met Excel en andere MS Office-toepassingen
  • Communiceer je vlot in het Nederlands en Engels
  • Werk je analytisch, nauwkeurig en gestructureerd
  • Kun je technische keuzes ook vanuit een commercieel perspectief bekijken

Dit is een functie voor iemand die graag techniek en cijfers combineert. Je zit niet aan het einde van het projectproces, maar juist aan het begin: jouw analyse en calculatie vormen mee de basis waarop projecten technisch en commercieel worden aangeboden.

Je krijgt daardoor een brede kijk op industriële E&I-projecten en werkt samen met verschillende technische disciplines, leveranciers, subcontractors en klanten.
