Job Description

onsemi is seeking an experienced individual to lead the IGBT Division Applications team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building strong teams, winning in the marketplace, and driving the future of power electronics. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and positioning state-of-the-art power discrete and power module solutions

Responsibilities

  • Lead the IGBT Division Applications team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and innovation
  • Engage with customers to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Support customers on IGBT application
  • Position onsemi as a leader in power electronics
  • Provide technical support to customers during design phases and troubleshoot issues
  • Oversee the development and release of new power products

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 10+ years of experience
  • Proven experience in power discrete and module applications
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to build and motivate teams
  • Power management knowledge beyond the single transistor
  • Highly experience with lab equipment used in high voltage power products

Preferred

  • Masters or PhD
  • Experience with testing for power discretes and modules
  • Familiar with reliability standards
  • Experience power semiconductor process
