The posting

Our client, a prominent design consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical studies, equipment specifications, lighting calculations, grounding calculations, cable schedules, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Studies: Conduct electrical studies, with expertise in tools like ETAP, to ensure the efficiency and reliability of electrical systems.
  • Equipment Specifications: Develop specifications for electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Lighting Calculations: Perform lighting calculations to design and implement effective lighting systems for various projects.
  • Grounding Calculations: Execute grounding calculations to establish safe and efficient grounding systems.
  • Cable Schedules: Develop detailed cable schedules for projects, considering load requirements and system specifications.
  • Wiring Diagrams: Create comprehensive wiring diagrams for electrical systems, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Code Compliance: Stay updated on local and international electrical codes, ensuring all designs adhere to regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on design consulting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ETAP, electrical equipment specifications, lighting and grounding calculations, cable schedules, and wiring diagrams.
  • Code Knowledge: Familiarity with local and international electrical codes and standards.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex electrical design challenges.
  • Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail in producing accurate and high-quality design documentation.
