About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SDET Engineer – Encounter Data Processing with a strong background in the Healthcare Payer domain. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in Facets, X12 EDI transactions, SQL validation, and test automation frameworks to support large-scale encounter data submission and validation processes.

Key Skills Required

Facets (Mandatory) – Claims Module & Encounter Data Validation X12 EDI Transactions – 837P, 837I, 837D 277CA Claim Acknowledgements 999 / TA1 Validation & Reconciliation SQL for Data Validation & Cross-Verification Edifecs or Similar EDI Validation Tools TOSCA Automation Framework Robot Framework Automation Healthcare Payer Domain Knowledge CMS & State Companion Guide Compliance

Domain Expertise Required

Encounter Data Processing Medicaid Encounter Submissions Medicare Advantage Encounter Submissions TRICARE Encounter Processing Marketplace Healthcare Transactions Encounter Acceptance & Rejection Management CMS Encounter Submission Rules

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute end-to-end encounter lifecycle test scenarios across:

  • 837P (Professional)
  • 837I (Institutional)
  • 837D (Dental)
  • 277CA
  • 999 / TA1

Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using:

  • TOSCA
  • Robot Framework

Perform Facets-to-Encounter Data Validation

Lead reconciliation activities between source claims and submitted encounters

Validate encounter submissions against CMS and State Companion Guide requirements

Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for encounter rejections and CMS/State edit failures

Drive automation coverage and improve regression testing efficiency

Mentor QA Analysts and support EDI validation best practices

Technical Expertise

Strong understanding of X12 transaction structures, loops, and segments Hands-on experience with Edifecs or equivalent EDI validation platforms Expertise in SQL-based validation of:

  • Claim Headers
  • Claim Details
  • Member Eligibility
  • Encounter Reconciliation

Strong Healthcare Payer testing experience
