As a Recycling Technician, you ensure that recyclable materials are properly sorted, processed, and reused. You work with modern systems and machines and are part of a team that implements sustainability in everyday life.

Your training with us

During the three-year apprenticeship, you will receive a versatile and practical education in recycling and waste disposal. You will learn, among other things:

  • Sorting and inspection of delivered materials
  • Sorting, further processing, and preparation of recyclable materials
  • Proper disposal of landfill goods
  • Creating delivery documents and working with scales
  • Operating various devices and machines such as forklifts, sorting excavators, scales, etc.
  • Maintenance, care, and cleaning of the machines and devices used
  • Understanding optimal solutions between workload and value creation

You will acquire solid expertise in recyclable material processing and learn the processes of a modern recycling company from the ground up.
