Join our dynamic team as a Business Development Manager Aerospace EMEA! This role offers a chance to shape the future in a supportive work environment.

Tasks ##

  • Drive growth in the aerospace segment through collaboration with value proposition teams.
  • Lead business development projects in partnership with regional markets.
  • Build long-term relationships with OEM customers and suppliers.

Skills ##

  • Technical degree with business training; experience in aerospace or defense.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace industry regulations and requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills in German, English, and French.

Your tasks

  • Further development and expansion of the aerospace segment in close cooperation with the Value Proposition department (segment and product management)
  • Active management and implementation of business development projects in collaboration with the regional markets
  • Promotion of new customer acquisition as well as further development of project management across various hierarchical levels
  • Analysis of market trends, competitive activities and technological developments in the aerospace and defence industry
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with OEM customers and their suppliers
  • Development, implementation and assurance of a sustainable market strategy for the relevant EMEA aerospace markets
  • Global coordination of activities in the aerospace segment as well as support for expansion into other regions
  • Identification of new business opportunities and tapping into additional market potentials
  • Representation of the company at customers, industry events, trade fairs and specialist conferences
  • Close cooperation with sales, product management and regional organisations to achieve growth targets
  • Ensuring effective knowledge transfer and building an international network within the segment

Your profile

  • Technical higher education (university of applied sciences or university) with business management further training
  • Profound technical understanding of the aerospace industry as well as regulatory and technical requirements
  • Several years of professional experience in business development, key account management, sales or programme management, ideally in the aviation or defence industry
  • Experience in stakeholder and relationship management at management and leadership level
  • Willingness to travel internationally as well as experience in cooperation at European level
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and convert customer requirements in the aerospace segment into sustainable business opportunities
  • Very good oral and written language skills in German, English and French
