Job PurposeService and repair of garden machinery.Key Responsibilities- Installation of, servicing and customer support for robotic mowers;- Servicing and repairs of all types of domestic garden machinery (lawnmowers, chainsaws, hedgecutters, brushcutters, etc.) and all power sources (battery, two stroke, petrol and diesel).- Assembly, PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) and servicing of professional groundscare machinery (i.e. diesel ride on mowers & compact tractors).Qualifications Required- A relevant level 6 or equivalent technical qualification (e.g. small engine mechanics, auto mechanics, diesel mechanics, mechatronics, agricultural mechanisation, etc.)- Minimum 2. years experience with small petrol engine powered machinery- Fluent English- Driving licensePersonal Characteristics Sought - Positive team member- Able to engage constructively with customers- Able to work quickly when required, multitask and handle changing priorities- Flexibility to be available for overtime in season, attend training (on occasion in the UK), etc.DimensionsJob location : Carrigrohane RoadReports To : Garden Machinery Service AdministratorJob Structure : Full time & permanentSchedule : Mon. – Fri. 8:00 – 17:30 (39 hr.s) + Sat. morning by request (overtime)Remn. : Basic €37,000 p.a.
