About the Role

Want to apply what you learn in school to real business challenges?

At JoHwa Hair & Living, we are looking for a curious and proactive individual to work closely with our Directors on business strategy, growth and operations.

From exploring ways to attract more tourists to our head spa services to developing go-to-market strategies for new product launches, you will have the opportunity to research real business challenges, propose solutions and see your ideas put into action.

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in how a business operates and grows, while building skills that will prepare you for your future career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Strategy: Conduct market research and identify opportunities to grow revenue, attract new customers and improve business performance.
  • Growth & Marketing: Develop strategies for product launches, customer acquisition and business growth during slower periods.
  • Operations: Identify areas for improvement and propose practical solutions to enhance business processes and efficiency.
  • Project Management: Work with the Directors and internal teams to implement initiatives and track their results.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Current undergraduate students, preferably in Business, Marketing, Management or related fields.
  • Individuals who enjoy research, problem-solving and thinking outside the box.
  • Proactive learners who are comfortable taking initiative and working independently.
  • Students interested in gaining practical business experience alongside their studies.

You do not need to have all the answers. We value curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn.

Position Details

  • Employment Type: Part-time, student employment
  • Location: City Hall, Singapore
  • Working Arrangement: On site, 2-3 days/week
  • Working hours: 9.30am-7.30pm
