Jim Pattison Subaru Victoria is looking for a motivated, personable, and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our dealership team. This position is well suited to someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable using technology, and takes pride in delivering a high-quality customer experience. Automotive sales experience is welcome, but it isn't essential—we're also interested in individuals with strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills who are ready to learn. The Opportunity As a Sales Advisor, you'll help customers navigate the vehicle-buying process from their initial inquiry through delivery. You'll learn about their needs, introduce them to appropriate Subaru vehicles, explain available options, and help create a smooth and professional purchasing experience. Your responsibilities will include:
Responding to customer inquiries in person, by phone, and online Learning about customers' needs and recommending appropriate vehicles Conducting vehicle walkarounds, demonstrations, and test drives Explaining vehicle features, pricing, and available financing options Working with management to structure and finalize vehicle deals Managing leads and customer follow-up through CRM systems Keeping customer information and sales activity accurately documented Coordinating vehicle deliveries and providing a positive handover experience Staying current on Subaru products, technology, features, and industry developments Building lasting customer relationships and contributing to repeat business Working collaboratively with the dealership team to achieve shared goals

Professional, personable, and comfortable interacting with a wide range of customers Highly motivated and willing to put consistent effort into achieving results A strong communicator who knows how to listen and build rapport Organized and capable of managing multiple customers and follow-ups Comfortable learning new technology and CRM systems Positive, dependable, and willing to learn in a fast-moving environment Available to work a flexible dealership schedule, including evenings and weekends
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Eligible to obtain a VSA license Previous automotive, retail, sales, or customer-service experience is an asset, but not required
