Job Description

The role supports the delivery of corporatesecretarial services, tax compliance and unaudited financial statements for aportfolio of Singapore companies. It develops an experienced accountspractitioner into a broader compliance role through supervised technicaltraining and practical assignments.

Reports to: Corporate Manager

Unaudited Financial Statement Preparation

· Prepare complete draftunaudited financial statements, accounting policies and supporting notes usingthe reporting framework applicable to each company, for technical review.

· Check financial statementconsistency, comparative figures and supporting disclosures; resolve querieswith clients and the reviewer.

Tax Compliance and Computations

· Prepare corporate income taxcomputations and schedules covering tax adjustments, capital allowances, lossesand other relevant claims, under supervision.

· Prepare draft EstimatedChargeable Income and Form C-S, Form C-S Lite or Form C submissions, asapplicable, for review and authorised submission.

· Prepare and reconcile GSTworkings; identify transactions requiring further review, includingcross-border transactions and potential withholding tax matters.

· Track tax deadlines, maintainsupporting records and assist with IRAS queries and reconciliation of taxassessments to approved computations.

Corporate Secretarial Support

· Maintain statutory registers,minute books, company records and a compliance calendar; follow up onoutstanding information and approvals.

· Draft routine directors’ andshareholders’ resolutions, meeting documents and annual return information forreview.

· Assist with incorporation andchanges to company particulars, officers and shareholdings; prepare supportingdocumentation and electronic filing information.

· Coordinate client onboarding,identity documentation and due diligence checks under the firm’s procedures;escalate discrepancies to the designated reviewer.
