Join the team at Julio Jones Kia as a Service Technician in Tuscaloosa, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. You will work closely with our service advisors and customers to deliver exceptional service and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
  • Diagnose vehicle issues using various diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Repair or replace defective parts and components on vehicles
  • Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle concerns and repair recommendations
  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards at all times

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as an automotive technician preferred
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and mechanical instruments
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
