Job Role Lead the strategic adoption, governance and effective implementation of Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) across KOAS corporate functions, tenders and construction projects. Support project teams in achieving coordinated digital delivery, regulatory compliance and measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cost and programme performance.
Job Responsibilities
Corporate IDD and Initiatives and Performance
Identify, evaluate and recommend IDD initiatives and practical use cases for implementation. Consolidate project data and implementation results, assess qualitative and quantitative benefits, and present findings and recommend to senior management. Coordinate relevant grant applications and associated administrative requirements.
Strategy, Standards and Governance
Develop, maintain and roll out corporate BIM/IDD standards, protocols and governance frameworks, with reference to ISO 19650 when applicable. Establish implementation roadmaps and conduct periodic project audits and reviews to monitor compliance, progress and quality. Update standards based on project experience and evolving requirements.
IDD Implementation Plans and BIM Execution Plans
Guide project teams in preparing, implementation and maintaining IDD Implementation Plans (IDDIP), BIM Execution Plans (BEP), model coordination procedures and digital workflows appropriate to project and contractual requirements. Monitor adoption and resolve implementation gaps with project management.
Regulatory Digital Submission and CORENET X
Provide corporate technical guidance on BIM information requirements, IFC-SG modelling and digital submission workflows, including CORENET X and relevant digital platforms. Coordinate with project teams, consultants and appointed submission parties to support complaint, timely information delivery; statutory submission and professional sign-off responsibilities remain with designated parties.
Common Data Environment (CDE)
Establish or support the setup and administration of project CDE platforms, such as Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM Track, as appropriate. Define document and model control workflows, access permissions, naming conventions and information exchange procedures. Induct users and promote secure, consistent use.
Digital Innovation, 4D/5D and Data Applications
Evaluate opportunities to integrate BIM models with construction sequencing (4D) and cost information (5D), where practical. Explore the use of site-generated digital data for progress monitoring, real-time reporting and digital-twin applications. Assess emerging technologies for suitability, implementation effort and measurable value before recommending adoption.
Stakeholder and Vendor Coordination
Provide BIM/IDD technical leadership and support to project teams in coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, technology vendors and relevant authorities. Facilitate model review workshops and cross-disciplinary coordination where required, while maintaining clear project-level ownership of design and delivery decisions.
Team Capability and Training
Guide and mentor BIM Managers, coordinators and modelers across projects. Identify competency gaps and organize training and knowledge-sharing. Establish and monitor practical digital delivery indicators, such as model coordination effectiveness, issue closure, rework reduction and user adoption.
Workflow Automation
Identify repetitive workflows suitable for automation, including model checking, data extraction, reporting and parametric modelling using tools such as Dynamo, Pilot and validate solutions before wider implementation, with appropriate quality controls.
Tender Support
Support tender teams with BIM-coordinated drawings, 4D construction visualization and simulations, proposed BIM/IDD execution methodologies and digital delivery submissions. Provide practical input on implementation resources, risks, and opportunities to improve tender competitiveness.
IDD/BIM Resource Planning
Review BIM/IDD workload, staffing capabilities and software requirements across corporate functions, tenders and ongoing projects. Recommend resource allocation and specialist support based on project priorities, and coordinate with project leadership on deployment, succession and capability development.
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in BIM, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant BIM/IDD experience in the construction industry.
- Familiar with CORENET X, IFC-SG and digital submission requirements.
- Proficient in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Experience in BIM coordination, model management and CDE platforms.
- Knowledge of 4D/5D BIM and workflow automation is an advantage.
- Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to guide project teams and coordinate with consultants and subcontractors.
- Strong interest in digital innovation and process improvement.
