Job Title: Domestic Gas Engineer

Salary: £36,000 per annum (DOE)

Location: Newport

About the Role

Youll be carrying out a variety of domestic gas works, including installs, servicing, and repairs across the Newport area. About the Client

This is a long-standing, independent Plumbing and Heating company that prides itself on delivering a friendly, professional service to the local community. They dont believe in a one-size-fits-all approach instead, they take the time to do the job properly and ensure customers receive a first-class experience. As they continue to expand, theyre now looking for the right Gas Engineer to join their close-knit team.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30 AM 5:00 PM

Key Duties

  • Carrying out domestic gas installations, servicing, and maintenance
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults quickly and efficiently
  • Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards
  • Providing friendly, reliable service to customers
  • Keeping accurate records and paperwork up to date

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Valid Gas Safe qualifications
  • DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first attitude
