Multiskilled Production Operator / Bench Fitter / Welder £14 + per hour (depending on experience) Newcastle Upon Tyne

About the Role:

In this multiskilled role, you'll be working within a close- knit team that focuses on the manufacture and assembly of essential components for critical machinery used across various industries. Whether its bench fitting or welding, youll be performing hands-on tasks that require precision, care, and expertise. Your work will help ensure that high-performance bearings are built to the exacting standards that clients depend on. Working Hours:

This is a full-time role, with standard working hours from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM,

Friday from 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Thats a solid 37.5-hour workweek, giving you the balance of productive work and personal time.

Key Duties:

  • Grit blasting, Glass bead blasting, Foundry processes,
  • TIG Welding ( Having this skill is a Highly favourable advantage)
  • Metal Finishing to file, debur, clean, and polish metal parts to meet quality standards
  • General factory duties and housekeeping and Clean and pack parts for shipping

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating machinery and tools relevant to the listed processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration.

Training:

Training will be provided in all aspects of the role. There is potential to develop this role in the future for the

right candidate that wants to develop into machining more operations and NDT inspection.
