About the Role

As a plumber, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems. Your expertise will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of work, ensuring customer satisfaction, and troubleshooting complex issues. You'll work across residential and commercial properties, ensuring jobs are completed to the highest safety and quality standards.

Our client is an established, family-run plumbing and heating company based in North London. With over 40 years of experience in the industry, they provide a wide range of services from central heating repairs to bathroom installations and drain systems. They are committed to delivering reliable, affordable services to their clients, with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality craftsmanship. As a Gas Safe registered company, they are known for their professionalism and attention to detail in all aspects of plumbing and heating work.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM No weekend work, offering great work-life balance!

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems across various properties.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide solutions to a wide range of customer needs.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor at all times.
  • Attend emergency call-outs and ensure urgent issues are handled swiftly and efficiently.
  • Ensure all work areas are left clean and tidy after each job.
  • Complete detailed reports and job sheets after each visit.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a seamless service to clients.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a qualified plumber.
  • Valid Gas Safe registration.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing and heating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and a proactive, friendly attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license.
