Job Title: Plumbing and Heating Engineer (Reactive Maintenance)

Salary: £45,000 per annum (DOE) + Overtime

Are you an experienced Gas Safe Plumbing and Heating Engineer with a strong background in reactive maintenance? About the Role

Youll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of plumbing and heating repairs within domestic properties across Brighton and the surrounding areas. From fixing leaks and resolving heating breakdowns to diagnosing faults and ensuring systems operate safely, youll be the trusted expert homeowners rely on. Your ability to provide fast, accurate solutions will play a key role in delivering a reliable and responsive service.

About the Client

Our client is a respected heating and plumbing service provider known for delivering dependable, high-quality solutions to homeowners across Brighton. With a strong reputation for customer service and a commitment to excellence, they continue to grow their team of talented engineers to meet increasing demand.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Overtime available

Key Duties

  • Reactive maintenance for domestic plumbing and heating systems
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
  • Performing system checks, tests, and safety measures
  • Delivering outstanding customer service during call-outs
  • Adhering to all safety regulations and industry standards

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in plumbing and heating
  • Gas Safe registered
  • Strong understanding of domestic heating systems and plumbing installations
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently with professionalism
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
