Vehicle Technician Up to £46,000 DOE Maidenhead, Berkshire

Are you a skilled Vehicle Technician looking to work somewhere that values precision, takes pride in quality work, and to work in a team of long serving Vehicle technicians. Our clients are hiring. Looking for an experienced technician to join a busy, down-to-earth team at a well-established independent garage in Maidenhead.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who knows their way around diagnostics, servicing, and repair, whether it's everyday maintenance or fault-finding jobs that need a second pair of sharp eyes. Youll be working on a broad range of makes and models, so flexibility and a methodical mindset will serve you well. You'll also be expected to liaise directly with the front of house team, making communication skills just as important as technical ability.

About the Client

The business you'll be joining has built a reputation for honest, high-quality work in the Maidenhead area for years. Providing automotive services on a wide variety of vehicles, they handle it all in-house and with care. The workshop is clean, well-equipped, and led by a team that genuinely cares about the standard of work going out the door with a shared goal of doing the job right and keeping customers coming back.

This well-established, independent garage is also part of the respected HiQ Tyres & Autocare network giving it the best of both worlds, the friendly service of a locally run workshop and the backing of a nationally trusted name. The team here have built up a loyal customer base in the Maidenhead area by combining technical know-how with genuine, honest service.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm (open to Flexibility)
  • Overtime available

Key Duties

  • Carrying out routine servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs Using diagnostic equipment to identify issues quickly and accurately
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily workflow

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician (ideally 3+ years)
  • Confident across diagnostics, fault-finding, and general repairs
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
  • Full UK driving licence
  • MOT License ( Bonus but not required)
