The posting

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Art Studio
  • Manage the KULA art studio at Kandima
  • Conduct art classes
  • Introduce different artforms to the studio at regular intervals & as per finalized action plan.
  • Expand fine art into different types (souvenir, soap making, weaving, cake decoration, pottery, resin art etc)
  • Arrange local artist events at the resort.
  • Arrange & manage popup art events with local & international vendors.
  • KULA Art Initiative
  • Help in planning KULA Art Festival & other festivals at Kandima.
  • Identify local activations & support from nearby local islands.
  • Event Coordination
  • Do creative setups for all events for all resort events. Plan, budget and implement the events at the resorts in coordination with the operations teams.
  • Create custom, bespoke and unique boards for other department to be used as displays.
  • Support to creative proposals for Easter, festive, Halloween and other marked dates for all resorts.

  • General:
  • Subject to the fact that you may from time to time be expected to work outside normal hours in order to meet reporting deadlines and take full responsibility of the department thereby extending his/her support whenever needed.
  • Specific financial measures of performance: To be agreed at each appraisal.

Appraiser: To be appraised by the bi-annually.
