Die Kriminalabteilung trägt die Verantwortung für die Kriminalitätsbekämpfung im Kanton Bern. Sie nimmt sich der Schwerstkriminalität an, ist zuständig in Fällen von überregionaler Bedeutung und bei Delikten, die fachliches und technisches Spezialwissen erfordern. Als treibende der kriminalpolizeilichen Arbeit setzt sie Schwerpunkte, prägt die fachliche Ausrichtung und ist gefragte Partnerin von Justiz und Polizeistellen im In\- und Ausland.

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Personelle, strategische und operative Führung eines Bereichs mit rund 50 Mitarbeitenden im oberen und Gestalten der strategischen Ausrichtung
  • Wahrnehmen personeller, taktischer und operativer Koordinations\- und Überwachungsaufgaben
  • Leitung bereichsspezifischer Projekte
  • Sicherstellen der fachspezifischen Weiterentwicklung der auf Ermittlungen ausgerichteten Spezialfahndung 4
  • Erledigen von Spezialaufträgen des Chefs der Kriminalabteilung und Übernehmen von Stellvertretungen im Leitungsteam
  • Leisten von Pikettdiensten nach Absolvieren der Offizierskurse des Schweizerischen Polizei\-Instituts

Ihr Profil

  • Abgeschlossenes juristisches Masterstudium sowie Erfahrung in einer vergleichbaren Funktion
  • Erfolgreiche, mehrjährige Führungslaufbahn
  • Idealerweise Praxiserfahrung in der Leitung gerichtspolizeilicher Ermittlungsverfahren
  • Rasche Auffassungsgabe, ausgeprägtes analytisches Denkvermögen und gutes Gespür für das Machbare
  • Engagierte, lernwillige und innovative Persönlichkeit mit hoher Einsatzbereitschaft, ausgeprägter Teamorientierung und grossem Interesse an kriminal\- und sicherheitspolizeilichen Belangen
  • Sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten sowie gute ösischkenntnisse
  • Vorbildfunktion, sicheres Auftreten und gelebte Sozialkompetenz
