About the role

Kapture CX is looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to own guest experience, reservation, inventory management products for enterprise customers in the cruise, airline and hospitality space.

You will work with customers' business teams to understand how they sell and service their products, and turn that into product strategy, specs and designs that engineering teams build and ship. The ideal candidate combines travel/cruiseline -domain depth, technical fluency and strong stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

Product strategy and ownership

  • Own the vision, roadmap and backlog for the Central Reservation System and corresponding modules.

  • Balance customer requests, platform scalability and technical debt when setting priorities.
  • Track industry trends and competitor products in travel and hospitality tech. (Good to have)

Technical product delivery

  • Write PRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria; create product workflows and designs for engineering teams.
  • Lead cross-functional development and QA teams through sprint planning, release and UAT.
  • Work with architects on APIs, integrations, data models and non-functional requirements such as performance and scalability.
  • Use prototypes to validate requirements with customers before full build.

Data and continuous improvement

  • Define product KPIs and track adoption, performance and business impact.
  • Use SQL and analytics tools to analyse product data, validate system behaviour and find improvement opportunities.
  • Drive root-cause analysis of production issues and data-quality gaps.

Customer and stakeholder management

  • Run discovery workshops with enterprise customers to understand processes, pain points and goals.
  • Present roadmaps, release plans and product performance to senior customer and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage critical issues and escalations through to resolution.
  • Identify where AI and automation (AI Voice, Chat, Agent Assist, Intelligent Workflows) can improve booking and servicing journeys.

Key requirements

  • 5-10 years of total experience, with 3+ years in product management (5+ years for the Senior level).
  • Domain experience in cruise line, airline or hospitality technology. (Mandatory)
  • Hands-on experience with a Central Reservation System, booking engine or reservations platform.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management, pricing and distribution concepts.
  • Technical fluency with REST APIs, integrations, data models and SQL.
  • Experience leading cross-functional engineering and QA teams in an agile environment.
  • Experience working with enterprise B2B customers and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation and communication skills.
  • Shift timing will be 3pm to 12am as the primary market would be US/EU. (Mandate & should be comfortable in working)

Good to have

  • Experience with travel platforms or standards such as GDS, OTA integrations or OpenTravel.
  • Background in B2B SaaS, CRM or contact-centre platforms.
  • Exposure to revenue management, demand forecasting or AI/ML in travel.
  • Experience with data warehouses and BI tools.
  • Experience with prototyping tools

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
