Their mission is to combat data fragmentation challenges in the region, aiding both Fintech and traditional finance enterprises in swiftly, securely, and confidently onboarding customers.

About this Position:

As a Django Back-end Team Lead with our client, you will hold a key role in spearheading a team of developers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and robust back-end solutions. Your Django expertise and leadership abilities will be instrumental in attaining our project objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead a team of back-end developers, offering guidance and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, encompassing front-end developers, designers, and product managers, to produce comprehensive web applications.
  • Architect and implement secure and scalable back-end systems using Django and associated technologies.
  • Construct and manage RESTful APIs for various projects.
  • Compose efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code.
  • Conduct code reviews to uphold quality and adhere to best practices. Swiftly troubleshoot and resolve back-end issues.
  • Stay current with the latest developments and best practices within the Django ecosystem.
  • Effectively manage project timelines to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Over 4-5 years of professional experience in Django web development.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Python and Django.
  • Proven experience in leading and overseeing a team of developers.
  • Adept in database design and management, particularly with PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Solid grasp of software development best practices and design patterns.
  • Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in an agile development environment. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality code.
  • A strong passion for staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like GCP and/or AWS.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Previous involvement in e-commerce or SaaS platform development. Understanding of network and security principles.
