We provide extensive opportunities for personal and professional development, building both employee competence and organizational capability to fuel exceptional performance through an inclusive environment both now and in the future.

Summary:

In this role, you will lead product strategy, development, and execution for healthcare operational analytics and data solutions within Vizient’s Data & Digital Operations Domain, including Operational Database (ODB) capabilities. You will translate portfolio priorities, client needs, and market opportunities into innovative product roadmaps, scalable capabilities, and measurable business outcomes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance data-driven solutions, AI-enabled innovation, and operational intelligence that improve healthcare performance, enhance client value, and support business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead product strategy, roadmap development, and lifecycle management for healthcare operational analytics, Operational Database (ODB) capabilities, and future-state operational intelligence solutions.
  • Translate portfolio priorities, client needs, and market opportunities into actionable product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritized backlogs, and release plans.
  • Drive product discovery, development, launch, adoption, optimization, and retirement planning while balancing client value, technical feasibility, usability, scalability, and business objectives.
  • Define and monitor product performance metrics, including adoption, operational improvement, quality, financial outcomes, and client value, to inform investment decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and advance opportunities for AI-enabled capabilities, autonomous agents, workflow automation, and decision intelligence, leveraging AI-assisted tools to accelerate product discovery and prototyping.
  • Engage healthcare operational leaders, clients, and end users to evaluate workflows, gather feedback, assess market trends, and identify opportunities for product innovation and expansion.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and business-case evaluations to inform product positioning, investment recommendations, portfolio priorities, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop analytical content strategies, including performance measures, benchmarks, business definitions, data specifications, and new capabilities aligned with client workflows and market needs.
  • Establish data sourcing, collection, and validation approaches in collaboration with data partners, subject-matter experts, and users to ensure accurate, actionable, and scalable analytical solutions.
  • Partner with Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Analytics, Data Intake, Finance, Advisory Services, and other teams to coordinate product execution, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Client Management, implementation, training, and support teams on product positioning, demonstrations, go-to-market planning, adoption, retention, and client expansion.
  • Champion product management best practices, facilitate cross-functional decision-making without direct authority, and communicate product priorities, tradeoffs, progress, and outcomes to technical, operational, commercial, and executive audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience managing digital, data, analytics, or technology-enabled healthcare products across discovery, development, launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, hospital performance improvement, operational analytics, and enterprise healthcare data solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in product strategy, roadmap development, requirements definition, backlog prioritization, release planning, and product lifecycle management.
  • Experience with AI-enabled products, autonomous agents, workflow automation, decision intelligence, or AI-assisted product prototyping preferred.
  • Experience developing analytical content, performance measures, benchmarks, business definitions, data specifications, sourcing strategies, and validation processes for data-driven products.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen, including experience with market research, competitive analysis, business-case development, product positioning, and performance measurement.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence decision-making, manage dependencies, and evaluate technical and business tradeoffs in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience collaborating with healthcare organizations, operational leaders, enterprise technology teams, and external data partners to deliver scalable analytics solutions.
  • Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights, prioritize competing demands, and drive measurable product outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
