  • Create platform capabilities that support consistent, traceable, and data-informed decisions.
  • Develop secure REST APIs and event-driven integrations using appropriate messaging and Kafka-based patterns.
  • Help develop AI-enabled and agentic systems that improve how users understand information, make decisions, identify actions, and manage work.
  • Write unit, integration, API, and end-to-end tests.
  • Contribute to observability, accessibility, security, performance, and operational readiness.
  • Participate in technical design, refinement, code reviews, demonstrations, and continuous improvement.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly and validate generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, and performance.
  • Contribute to repository guidance, reusable engineering patterns, technical documentation, and the Software Factory workflow.
  • Mentor other engineers and promote consistent engineering practices across the workstream.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 or more years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong experience developing production software using Java and Spring Boot or comparable backend technology.
  • Experience building modern web applications using React and TypeScript or comparable frontend technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and distributed services.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including data modeling, query development, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with cloud-native development and deployment.
  • Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and source-control workflows.
  • Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, secure coding, and data protection.
  • Ability to work effectively with product, architecture, data, quality engineering, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
  • Experience delivering functionality incrementally through small, independently testable units of work.
  • Ability to understand the user and business problem before implementing a solution.
  • Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and attention to detail from requirements through delivery and production support.
  • Collaborates effectively and communicates clearly with product, engineering, data, quality, architecture, and business stakeholders.
  • Welcomes feedback, exercises sound judgment, continuously improves, and balances delivery speed with quality, security, maintainability, and long-term value.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Kafka, Confluent, event-driven architecture, or asynchronous processing.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, AKS, Helm, JFrog, Harness, or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience integrating with enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
  • Experience working with large-scale data, data quality, master data, analytics, or data platforms.
  • Experience with AI- or ML-enabled applications, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, or AI output evaluation.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
