Keeper Security is hiring an experienced QA Analyst to join our Console team and help ensure the quality, reliability and usability of Keeper’s enterprise Admin Console applications. This is a 100% remote position, with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL metro areas.

About the Role

As a QA Analyst on the Admin Console team, you will test Keeper’s web-based administrative experiences and the backend APIs that support our enterprise solutions. You will work closely with Engineering, Product and other QA professionals to validate new features, identify defects and ensure console functionality remains secure, reliable and intuitive.

This role requires strong attention to detail, experience testing enterprise web applications and familiarity with modern web and API testing practices. You will help maintain comprehensive test coverage across frontend functionality, administrative workflows, access controls and backend integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Test Keeper’s web-based Admin Console applications for functionality, reliability, usability and regression issues
  • Validate backend APIs that support console functionality using tools such as Postman or similar platforms
  • Create, execute and maintain test cases based on product requirements, technical specifications and user stories
  • Test enterprise administrative workflows including authentication, authorization, permissions and role-based access controls
  • Perform cross-browser testing to ensure consistent behavior across supported desktop browsers
  • Reproduce, document and track defects with clear technical detail and steps to reproduce
  • Maintain test coverage and execution results using tools such as TestRail, Jira and Confluence
  • Collaborate closely with developers, Product and other QA team members to identify issues and validate fixes
  • Participate in requirement reviews, release validation and regression testing activities
  • Identify gaps in test coverage and recommend improvements to QA processes and test strategy
  • Use AI-assisted tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or similar platforms to support test design, defect analysis, troubleshooting and documentation

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, web application testing or a related QA role
  • Hands-on experience testing enterprise web applications, administrative consoles or SaaS platforms
  • Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern browser behavior
  • Experience validating backend APIs using Postman or similar API testing tools
  • Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, permissions and role-based access control concepts
  • Ability to create clear, detailed and reproducible test cases and defect reports
  • Experience with Jira, TestRail, Confluence or similar test and defect management platforms
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across Engineering, Product and QA teams
  • Familiarity with enterprise identity technologies such as Active Directory, LDAP or similar platforms
  • Ability and willingness to use AI-assisted tools effectively to improve testing, troubleshooting, analysis and documentation
  • Due to this role’s involvement in GovCloud environments, qualified candidates must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience testing identity, cybersecurity or other security-sensitive enterprise applications
  • Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
  • Exposure to identity and access management protocols such as SAML, SCIM or SSO
  • Familiarity with virtualization or containerization tools such as Docker or VMware
  • Experience with automated web or API testing tools

5. International Transfers

Your data may be accessed by Keeper entities globally as needed for the purposes of hiring and decision making. We protect any such data transfer between Keeper entities using appropriate safeguards under applicable data protection laws.

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, consistent with our industry leading security standards.

7. Retention

We keep your data for 24 months from your last application activity, then delete or anonymize it.

Exceptions:

  • You opt into our talent database for further retention by providing consent (extended retention)
  • You're hired (transfers to employee records)

8. Your Rights
