Keeper is hiring a talented Senior SEO/GEO Specialist to join the Keeper Marketing team. This is a 100% remote position from select locations with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the Chicago, IL metro area.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior SEO/GEO Specialist with a strong SEO foundation and hands-on experience optimizing website content. You’ll help improve the performance, discoverability and user experience of Keeper’s global website through technical audits, content optimization, website updates and analytics. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented and comfortable working across technical SEO, content strategy, on-page optimization and cross-functional projects. They understand how a technically sound website and high-quality content work together to improve organic visibility, user experience and business results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies that improve organic visibility, website performance and qualified traffic
  • Work with development to help identify issues related to site architecture, crawlability, indexation, redirects, canonicalization, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, JavaScript rendering, duplicate content and structured data
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile usability and overall website health
  • Provide recommendations for website structure, URL strategy, taxonomy, navigation and internal linking
  • Conduct keyword research, search intent analysis, competitive research and SERP analysis to inform SEO recommendations
  • Create SEO briefs and content recommendations for blogs, product pages, landing pages, glossary pages and other website content
  • Review and optimize existing content to improve relevance, rankings, user experience and conversion potential
  • Implement or support on-page SEO updates, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, image alt text, schema and content improvements
  • Identify opportunities to improve visibility across traditional search, AI-powered search and other emerging search experiences
  • Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, Sitebulb and other SEO platforms to identify opportunities and measure performance
  • Analyze organic search performance, rankings, traffic, conversions and technical trends to inform SEO strategy
  • Support international and multilingual SEO initiatives, including hreflang, localized content, regional URL structures and market-specific requirements
  • Stay current on search engine updates, technical SEO developments, content trends, schema standards and industry best practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SEO, including experience with technical SEO
  • Strong understanding of crawling, rendering, indexation, canonicalization, redirects, structured data, XML sitemaps and internal linking
  • Experience creating SEO content briefs based on keyword research, search intent, competitive analysis and business objectives
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to identify issues and opportunities
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog/crawling tools
  • Experience using AI-search/GEO tools or monitoring brand visibility in LLM-generated results
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with enterprise, SaaS, cybersecurity or B2B websites
  • Experience with international SEO or multilingual websites
  • Experience with SEO automation, reporting or data analysis
  • Experience with AI search optimization, GEO or monitoring brand visibility in AI-generated results
  • Familiarity with schema, entity optimization, content structure and other techniques that improve search visibility
  • Experience working with WordPress or another enterprise content management system

5. International Transfers

Your data may be accessed by Keeper entities globally as needed for the purposes of hiring and decision making. We protect any such data transfer between Keeper entities using appropriate safeguards under applicable data protection laws.

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, consistent with our industry leading security standards.

7. Retention

We keep your data for 24 months from your last application activity, then delete or anonymize it.

Exceptions:

  • You opt into our talent database for further retention by providing consent (extended retention)
  • You're hired (transfers to employee records)

8. Your Rights
