Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest bedrooms and bathrooms according to established property standards.
  • Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities (toiletries, refreshments, etc.).
  • Perform thorough cleaning tasks including dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and emptying trash.
  • Organize and restock the housekeeping trolley before and after every shift.
  • Report any room damage, maintenance issues, or broken fixtures immediately to the supervisor.
  • Handle guest requests politely and efficiently (e.g., delivering extra pillows or towels).
  • Follow lost and found procedures strictly when encountering items left behind by guests.

Job Requirements

  • Physical stamina and fitness, with the ability to stand, bend, lift mattresses, and push heavy carts for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure rooms are spotless and presented flawlessly.
  • Excellent time management skills to finish allocated rooms within designated time limits.
  • Reliable and trustworthy with a high standard of personal integrity and respect for guest privacy.
  • Basic communication skills to understand instructions and interact politely with guests.
  • Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is a plus, but entry-level candidates with a positive attitude are welcome to apply (training provided).
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
