The posting

Stew Hansen Buick GMC, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is growing and currently looking for an Automotive Detailer that aligns with our core values and acts with respect, integrity, growth, humility and teamwork.

This is an excellent opportunity with someone who has detail experience and enjoys working on a team, and independently!

**Flat rate/commissioned based - GREAT earning potential**

Schedule: position requires evenings until 6:30pm (or later based on business need) and every Saturday until 6pm.

What you’ll do as an Automotive Detailer (Car Wash):

  • Wash and wax vehicle exteriors
  • Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, treat interiors with spot and stain resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components
  • Clean engine and engine compartment with steam cleaning equipment to remove grease and grime
  • Apply paint protection and interior protection chemicals

Looking for:

  • Accommodating work style that produces highly precise and accurate work
  • Unselfish and approachable demeanor with a preference for detailed, skill-based work
  • Must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S with a valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record, per company standards
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Why you’ll love working with us:

  • Competitive compensation package and 401k with company match
  • Wellness Time Off, plus holidays, plus a Personal Purpose Day
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability Insurance, AD&D and Life Insurance
  • Flex Spending, Health Savings Account, EAP, Wellness Plan, Mental Health Support, Diabetes Management Program, and Parental Leave Stipend
  • Year-end bonus program for ALL employees (Garff Giveback)
  • Employee discounts on vehicle purchase, parts, service and more!

At first glance, there’s nothing remarkable at Ken Garff. Our uniforms aren’t flashy, and our buildings look a lot like the competition. You may not see it right at first, but if you listen you’ll hear. Because listening isn’t just something we do; it’s part of who we are. It’s how we show that what we absolutely value the most (far more than buildings, uniforms or cars) is our people. And we thrive on treating them right. We listen because we believe listening matters. We’re just different that way.

Will you join us as a new Automotive Detailer? Will you throw your energy and focus behind what we’re doing? Will you live our values and do things differently than you’ve ever done them? Will you listen and build trust and foster relationships? This organization, that started as an idea by a man named Ken Garff way back in 1932, needs one thing to keep its vision intact and its purpose of reinventing an industry moving forward. It needs you.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.
