In this role, you will support the design and delivery of water, wastewater, recycled water, and utility infrastructure projects across the country. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and other design professionals to develop high-quality construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Water/Wastewater Civil CAD Designer, you will develop civil design drawings and 3D models for a variety of infrastructure projects, including water transmission pipelines, sanitary sewer collection systems, tanks and reservoirs, pump stations, and treatment facilities.

Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines on large and complex projects to deliver construction documents within scope, schedule, and budget. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, senior designers, and other team members throughout the design process. Perform design calculations, research vendor information, and support code and standards compliance. Identify design conflicts and work with project teams to develop solutions. Serve as CAD Lead on mid- to large-sized projects, as appropriate. Review the work of other designers prior to delivery. Mentor team members on design delivery workflows, CAD standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in civil design, including site civil and pipeline plan/profile development. Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Experience with design and collaboration tools such as InfraWorks, ProjectWise, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office. Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads is a plus. Knowledge of site civil and site piping design principles, including grading, drainage, earthwork/volumetric calculations, site layout, and underground utility systems. Working knowledge of land surveying principles, applicable codes, and industry standards. Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary project teams. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
